Pros:

Everything was good . Rooms were very small, but comfortable and clean. And modern decor

Cons:

Having to go up and down very, narrow and unsafe steps with a huge suitcase. Also the underground noise (tho I cud handle that)

Disappointing!!
Cons:

1. The Compact Single Room is significantly different from the one advertised on Booking.com.
The photos on the listing present a modern, bright, well-designed room, while the actual room we received is completely different in terms of appearance, layout, quality, and overall condition.
2. The room did not include air conditioning, despite it being clearly listed as an available facility.
3. Extremely inappropriate and unacceptable behaviour from the receptionist.
When explained that we were dissatisfied with the room and politely asked whether another room was available, the receptionist replied that another room existed but was already occupied and when we expressed our disappointment with the room, the receptionist responded by saying: "You can f@@@k off."

This language and behaviour are completely unacceptable and fall far below the standards expected from a property listed on Booking.com.

The room was spotless, great location for King’s Cross just a 5 minute walk and secure as you had to be buzzed in

Cons:

A lift would be nice but this was only a minor thing and our bag was taken up to our room by the staff anyway

Reasonable clean hotel with breakfast
Pros:

Good location for the Eurostar.

Cons:

Stairs and no lift- a problem if you have a lot of luggage. Also as a single woman was given a ground floor room- which I complained about and they eventually changed. Why give single female travellers this room?

Convenient location, great staff and comfy sleep!
Pros:

Super friendly and accommodating staff, super comfy bed and the air con was lush during the heatwave

Cons:

Fire alarm went off at 2:30 in the morning for about three minutes. Woke up to lights flashing and the alarm blaring but it wasn’t a real alarm so was woken up for no reason and struggled to sleep the rest of the night. Probably wasn’t the hotels fault though

It was an attractive and very convenient place for us to stay.
Pros:

Harsh greeted us on our arrival, and was very helpful and friendly from then on. Our daughter had rung on our behalf, and Harsh was especially on the ball and solicitous. Tank you Harsh! We had a great time in France!

Cons:

The bed was really too big for the room! A smaller bed would have been fine, and enable easier movement .

Ok room for improvement in some areas

Easy location to King’s Cross / St Pancras

Cons:

Although the room was advertised as a compact room it was very small indeed. There were two of us staying in the room and when you got out of bed you had to climb over your suitcases. As there is no storage for them. For one night this was ok but for longer stays better to get the larger room.
Breakfast was not great..
I ordered the yogurt and granola bowl which was prepared in a blender so the yogurt was like soup in the end which then had Alpen sprinkled on not Granola. Not the end of the world but not as advertised ..

If we'd been able to get a refund on our booking, we would have left immediately.
