Beautiful building and very nice staff

Amazing hotel, very spacious lovely scenery. Staff were very accommodating from the second we walked through the door to leaving. The interior and outside are amazing visit wales a lot and will definitely be staying here again.
Not a single thing the whole experience was amazing
The hotel was in a picturesque setting with plenty of character features and spacious grounds. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Our bedroom was meant to be a standard double. However it was the smallest hotel room we've ever stayed in and we've stayed in many as we are in our early seventies. It was more like a box room or rather a single room with a double bed. There was no bedroom chair or dressing table as there would have been no room to place any furniture. Only one bedside shelf (it tilted and needed securing to the wall) with reading light. My husband had to use the windowsill as his bedside shelf and getting out of bed for him was very restrictive as the bed was pushed against the wall resulting in him having to climb across to get out! We gathered that these rooms are labelled cosy rooms and obviously cheaper. We weren't expecting a luxury room, depicted on their website for what we paid but we were anticipating a standard size double room.
Its a unique building and friendly staff
We booked ok the same day, and were put in one of three room in the parking area which are newly constructed as opposed to the main castle.

It’s a beautiful building in lovely surroundings
Our bedroom was ridiculously small one side of the bed was pushed up to the radiator and window with pipe boxing then a wardrobe close to the bottom so you had to climb a step and squeeze round a corner nowhere to put toiletries in bathroom shower cubicle so small you had to squeeze through the doors then you couldn’t bend to wash your feet. No drawers in bedroom.single wardrobe half full of ironing board iron hairdryer and robes…nowhere else to put them

After booking in and being shown room had not be cleaned at all from last guest wet towels on the bed bed unmade glass of water not drunk not good at all after informing staff the room was then cleaned immediately but u should never be shown to a dirty room
The hotel was beautiful and the staff were lovely and very accommodating
Nice property and excellent location.
Food was disappointing - nice starter at dinner but main (chicken schnitzel) was very greasy. And surprised that there was no cooked breakfast option.

Ontbijt was goed. Huis was prachtig aan de buitenkant.
Wij kregen een kamer helemaal bovenin, verschillende trappen op ook in de kamer zelf. Het dak liep schuin en er zat alleen een dakraam in, geen airco, het was erg warm. Bed was te smal voor ons en in de kamer zelf kon mijn man van bijna 2 meter niet goed rechtop staan. Jammer zag er aan de buitenkant veelbelovend uit. Dit besproken met de receptie en die zei dat ze met Booking.com in gesprek zijn om dit anders aan te geven op hun site, zodat je beter kan zien welke kamer je boekt.
