Love the location the hotel very cosy.Staff very friendly
The grounds and staff were lovely. The room was spotless, bed firm,shower easy to use and temperature just right without adjusting all the time. Fluffy towels.
Liked our garden view but would have preferred not to hike to the second floor although we hadn't specified this when booking.
Didn't have breakfast but would have liked a more extensive warm menu for breakfast and evening.

We loved the property and carefully curated decor, the hotel bar & all of the staff were very welcoming & friendly. The room was clean & welcoming and had been prepared thoughtfully for our stay (a fan was switched on and cooling our room ready for our arrival)
Sadly the hotel was not able to offer a full Welsh breakfast or a restaurant meal on the night we stayed which would have made our stay more convenient and even more enjoyable. However, recommendations were made to a selection of local eateries & the hotel bar was excellent with a well stocked bar & lovely relaxed atmosphere.

Location and all aspects of the hotel were first class
A vital feature for me when deciding on accommodation is the quality of the breakfast.
Described as a Buffet Breakfast, that could describe both cooked and continental.
Unfortunately for me my preference of a cooked meal never materialised.
However, the alternative was excellent.
Lesson for the future, enquire before booking.

The highlight of our entire trip!
This was without a doubt the most wonderful hotel of our entire trip through Wales. Staying in this beautiful old manor house is an experience in itself – lovely, characterful rooms, an excellent breakfast and an atmosphere that makes you feel as if you have stepped back in time into a grand old English country house.
We received a very warm welcome at reception, and the bartender was not only extremely friendly but also very knowledgeable. He mixed us an absolutely delicious Old Fashioned – one of those little details that made our stay even more memorable.
The beautiful grounds and garden are another highlight. It was wonderful simply to sit outside, relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
The hotel is also a perfect base for exploring the area and for the many wonderful hikes nearby.
A truly special place with character, charm and wonderful hospitality. For us, it was the absolute highlight of our accommodation during this trip, and we would return without hesitation!

However neither would stop me returning.
Un accueil vraiment très appréciable dans cet hôtel. Et le personnel a fait un gros effort pour nous servir le petit-déjeuner avant l'ouverture car nous avions un ferry à prendre. Et petit-déjeuner exceptionnel !
