La gentillesse du personnel, le calme, le magnifique petit dej
Rien
The location, garden, building, rooms, parking, cleanliness, and of course, the staff are absolutely fantastic. Also, you could easily spend an entire day exploring the beautiful garden!
The room was spotless, but the bed runner appeared to have a few stains. Additionally, the breakfast items were of excellent quality and offered in good quantity; adding some warm options to the breakfast buffet would be a welcome improvement.
the age of the property but we didn’t get to stay in the hotel as they out us in a new build room out side
the breakfast was expensive and only continental
Beautiful country house and grounds.
No restaurant on site.
Everything...
Stayed there the third time now, and from the house to the staff over the surroundings an exceptional stay.
Also loved the way how my dogs are treated as if they are part of the furniture in the manor.... In the best way possible... They love coming back to caer Rhun Hall 😊
Amazing place and lovely grounds. The library and bar room are so cool! We loved hanging down there playing chess and visiting with other guests. Breakfast spread was excellent too!
Lovely stay . Fantastic Hotel and setting. Staff very friendly
The hotel is exquisite, the staff were excellent, they couldn’t do enough for you.
When we arrived there wasn’t anyone on reception and no bell to alert anyone so I had to search for the member of staff.
We were shown to our room and even asked if we wanted help with our bags. Our room was a small room with a large superking size bed which took up most of the space. Because of this there was only room for one bedside table, which was a bit of an inconvenience . There was a small wardrobe, which contained an iron and ironing board, hairdryer and two robes so there wasn’t a lot of room to hang our clothes up. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and the shower was wonderful. There were tea and coffee making facilities and a plentiful supply of tea bags, coffee, milk sachets and there was also coffee pods and a coffee machine. Housekeeping was spot on, even though we made our bed each day you could tell it had been straightened professionally and the tea and milk replenished and the bathroom cleaned.
The hotel is situated in its own beautiful grounds, that you are free to wander around and there is also outside seating for you to relax in and a swing for big kids to play on.
Breakfast is offered but only Continental and my husband does enjoy his full Welsh breakfast and as I have Coeliac Disease there wouldn’t have been much for me to eat, so we travelled into Conwy to eat. We did have a pizza from the hotel one evening and whilst my gluten free pepperoni pizza was fine my husband was violently ill after having a normal Margarita. It might not have been the pizzas fault but we’ll never know.
Overall we had a wonderful time and with hindsight I would’ve booked a larger room but it didn’t really detract from a great holiday.
Due to the size of the room the bed could’ve done with being just a king size rather than a super king.
Limited food offered, no hot breakfast.
Excellent place, excellent location wonderful hotel, rooms. everything was perfect.
The continental breakfast was the best one we've had in a hotel. The public areas were relaxing, and there was plenty of space.
Inside the hotel was beautiful, grand and elegant. It was quiet and peaceful throughout the whole stay. The location was great as a base to go to bodnant gardens, Betws-y-Coed , Conwy and Snowdonia.
The bed was a bit small so wasn’t the comfiest to sleep on.
Lovely helpful staff, clean hotel and comfortable bed. Beautiful old building and history
No fridge in the room would be my only criticism
Loved the place, surroundings and people.
Staff was amazing! Breakfast was delicious! The shared spaces were beautiful!
Everything!
