No staff on site felt unsafe being in the bottom floor, was given a disabled access room which wasn’t what we booked? What if someone needed to have that room?

Lots of loud noises during the stay constant car washing
Probably only got about 2 hours sleep,

A nice stay with little comforts that makes you want to come again
Pros:

I liked it was close to the train station. I loved the little snacks and coffee + drinks! The toiletries were great, the slippers were very lovely. Everything was brightly lit and the bed was very comfortable! The AC was easy to work out. It was very clean and modern.

Cons:

I didn’t like that you couldn’t open the window blinds because straight down you could see people washing cars really close + the gas station, so it wasn’t very comfortable to leave them open. We had some loud guests and you can easily hear them in the hallway even if people are just talking normal.

Poor location & disappointing experience.
Pros:

Large room, bed was very comfy.

Cons:

Upon arrival it wasnt clear the lift was at the front of the hotel in the petrol station rather than round the back where the car park is.
Numerous problems with the room:
All videos on hotels Instagram page, of the mini bar show it well stocked with drinks & snacks, unfortunately ours had very little in it.
The tassimo coffee machine had not been cleaned in a very long time.
We had only 1 paper cup, so only 1 of us could have 1 hot drink!
The bathroom has 2 sinks, 1 had a very dirty, wobbly, leaky tap! the other tap & plug hole was covered in a yellowy slimy scum! The complimentary toiletries were empty!
Despite staying in the 'accessible' room the bed was pushed up against the wall, making it impossible for 1 person to get in or out of bed without climbing over the other person.
There is only 1 plug socket in the entire room for guests to use!
Finally, upon returning to our room at 11pm we went to bed, despite the bed being very comfortable neither myself nor my partner could get any sleep at all due to the sound of ww3 breaking out right outside our bedroom window! There is curry takeaway less than 10 steps from the bedroom window which operates until 5/6am in the morning. All night there was constant screaming, shouting, arguing, extremely loud music and car engines being revd, im sure I even heard police sirens at some point.
This hotel looks amazing on Instagram when it was perfect & brand new, however, these standards have not been kept to as time has gone on. Maintenance & cleaning were clearly not done prior to our visit & although the hotel owners cannot control what happens outside on the street they could ask their neighbouring businesses & their customers to keep noise to a respecfult level. Overall I would not recommend staying here.

Pros:

Great location for o2 academy birmingham.
Staff communicated through WhatsApp and were first class,free on site parking,the place was spotless Netflix on the TV coffee and tea provided

Absolutely would use again can recommend the place enough

The carpark isn’t obvious as it’s behind a no entry sign, that said there is a massive sign for it in the fence that I just didn’t see.

From the outside it doesn’t look great, but once you are in and the perfect place to stay for going to the O2 Academy.
Pros:

When you got inside it was modern, nicely furnished and very comfortable. It was easy to get in and there was instant contact via WhatsApp to let us know how to work the lift and to make sure everything was okay with the room. There was a Tassimo drinks machine with coffee and hot chocolate (which you don’t get in many places) as well as a kettle, tea bags, biscuits etc.

Overall a great place to stay and we will book again if coming back to the area.

Cons:

From the outside you wonder what you are going in to as, the way we went in, was next to a petrol station and it didn’t look great.

There didn’t seem to be a light switch near the entrance - it was okay once we worked out how to switch on everything.

Relaxing hotel after a long hard day at a conference.
Pros:

The location was a 10 minute walk from the ICC. The bed was comfortable the room was nicely decorated.
The shower had some lovely rituals shower products. There is a shop next door.
