A very nice apartment, large and well furnished and fitted out. The bed was very comfortable
We didn't like the smelly perfume dispenser things all around, some people may like them but we found them most unpleasant.
A few more opening windows would have been nice
No breakfast provided.
Poor security, front door did not lock and anyone could walk in given no reception staff. Coffee/Milk was not topped up.
Good location for the town centre and although mine was an attic room it was air-conditioned so sleep was unaffected by the summer heat.
It is an unmanned facility but the front door lock was disabled so anyone could walk in without challenge, poor security. The shower cubicle in my room was tiny, a bigger person would have really struggled to turn round in it. I didn't think this booking was good value for the price.
It's a strange set up, no reception, or staff on site. But very comfortable, a spacious room and an ensuite bathroom. The location is excellent, close to the town centre and the Abbey gardens, and a short walk to the Thames.
The shower cubicle was small but that was about it.
The place was lovely, good location and we loved the mini kitchen
The booking in and trying to get help at the property. Getting extra towels when we were there for over a few days.
The room was an oven. We were provided with fans but of little relief.
The window only opened a few inches.
The blinds could not be rolled up or down as the chain was flimsy and kept on coming off.
Wine bottles were found in our room only to find out that these had been delivered to the wrong room.
All in all "Fawlty Towers".
Location and size of room
No staff to contact except by phone and occasionally random person on desk at night. Front door always open which was a concern. Unable to leave windows open at night during heatwave as we were on ground floor next to carpark. Could only leave one window slightly ajar which locked in place others were not lockable.
The air con was a real bonus.
Geweldige kamer met fantastisch uitzicht op de tuin en het park en heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel
het was fantastisch, heel klein puntje het was mooi geweest als de deuren naar de tuin open hadden gekund
It was central to Abingdon and a lovely park outside leading to the Thames. The room was large and the beds and pillows comfortable. Lovely bathroom and the night lights near the toilet were great so I didn’t disturb my friend in the night by putting the light on. Adequate crockery for snacks and cooking if needed. It is a lovely old house and has been renovated to a high standard
Unfortunately it was a heat wave while we were there. No breeze came in the windows and we had a small fan supplied which was very noisy. The entrance hall had no ventilation and was so hot even before we got in the room. The rubbish bin was tiny. Nowhere to dispose of our rubbish when full although on the first day we had a new bag for the bin but for the rest of the week we had no housekeeping done. No clean towels and we had to search for some more toilet rolls. We did find the coffee and tea supplies but not the toilet rolls until the last minute. We stayed for 4 nights so clean towels and rubbish disposal would have been welcome especially as it was so hot and we showered 3 times a day. The lighting wasn’t suitable for reading in bed without the blazing ceiling lights. Only a standard lamp by one bed and only one bedside table not one either side which would have been preferable. I had to improvise with the luggage rack for a bedside table
Great location for all Abingdon has to offer
Una buona posizione nel centro della cittadina
Nessuna persona presente a qualunque titolo.
Niente reception
Niente bar/ristorante
Niente pulizia della camera se non dopo 3 giorni e su mia richiesta
Niente aria condizionata: 29 gradi di notte in camera
Niente frigobar
Sporcizia all’ingresso della struttura rimossa solo dopo 5 giorni
No breakfast available at this hotel but plenty of options a short walk away
Too hot, we stayed in June yet the central heating came on every morning making the room too hot for us.
great location snd room
key card locked me out of building and no staff to get in. started working about 30 mins later
Good location. Waitrose supermarket just around the corner. Right in town and by the river.
No toaster. Could do with a better fan for the heatwave.
Very peaceful, clean, amazing facilities and had everything you needed. All of the staff very accommodating before, during and after the visit
Locatie en kamer. Schoon netjes en voorzien van alle gemakken.
Parkeren, het is niet afgesloten en sardientjes ook door lokale mensen gebruikt.
Very nice location in the vicinity of city center and parks
No possibility to store luggage during the day. I would also suggest to have air conditioner installed
Charming, full of character and design.
