The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable. It was a reasonable price to book and stay.
Breakfast was OK but wasn't the best.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, waiting staff in the restaurant were so nice. Breakfast was really good. The selection was perfect.
We had a bungalow which I wasn't expecting to take so long to find, it was freezing cold as radiators hadn't been previously on. There was food on the floors and hand marks on handles and walls. I'm guessing a guest had a child that went around with messy chocolate hands and unfortunately it hadn't been cleaned up. Dusty skirtings and dado rails. The wall around the bin was dirty. Made it feel like it needed a deep clean.

Slow check in and que formed. Staff seemed to take ages, even though pre booked.
The breakfast and dinner were lovely, there was a good choice.
The massage was very relaxing and great value for money.
The bed wasn't very comfortable
We were above the restaurant and they start playing music at around 7:30 and I was woken up
The spa facilities are very disjointed and the staff were not attentive. The spa seemed under staffed and I was left chasing staff for drinks I had ordered.
We didn't have a window in our room that we could open. I would have liked to allow fresh air into the room.
Room was beautiful and modern food ok but staff do not communicate and had to wait 4 room 4 hours and wait to be sat down 4 a while 4 meal and not given meals stright away felt like it was very disorganised steam room not working and to get a drink wasn't easy staff in spa facilities were very welcoming best staff in the whole hotels. Reception and restaurant didn't get a welcoming vibe.
That it's very expensive for spa that needs work and need staff 4 bar as couldn't get cocktails only a bottle beer so didn't feel very special in the spa considering it nit cheap, food was ok but staff very disorganised
The room was upgraded for our anniversary of getting married at Park Hall with roses and towel swans which was a lovely touch.
The bed was sooooo firm, in hindsight it might have been more comfortable sleeping on the floor.
We paid extra for breakfast in the morning but sadly couldn’t eat any of it. The mushrooms were covered in pepper, the scrambled egg had cream added to it making it too runny, and the fried eggs that were cooked to order were both overcooked and crispy and runny at the same time - despite asking for it to not be runny.
When raising with staff at checkout he couldn’t have been any less interested if he tried.
We weren’t the only ones complaining.
It’s a real shame. The hotel is beautiful and it holds special memories for us, but if that’s the level of comfort we’re to expect, we aren’t sure we’ll be back again.
Relaxed atmosphere, very clean.
When I saw the score on this hotel I was dubious but after we arrived we found it to be very good, reception was very helpful, the staff in the restaurant were exceptional they couldn’t do enough for us, the room was spacious and the shower was great.
I’m so happy we chose this hotel, will definitely be back.
The only thing is the pool is not attached to the hotel, it’s a short walk away.

No mirror above the dressing table in room if sharing with friend to get ready but there was a long mirror and mirror in bathroom.
