The Garden Café is currently operating a limited service for Food & Beverage. Breakfast is continental only, grab and go breakfast can also be provided on request. Full English Country Breakfast is served on Saturdays and Sundays. We also offer a small selection of hot, soft and alcoholic drinks. Please contact the property for further information. We do not currently have a Bar or Restaurant available in The Manor House Building.
We are able to accommodate small toy dogs (Under 10kg) on request in our Garden Rooms only. A supplement of £20.00 per night is applicable and paid direct to the property on check in. Dogs are not permitted in The Club, The Hayloft Spa or Garden Café for hygiene reasons. Please inform us in advance if you will be brining a dog. Please note cats or any other type of pet will not be accommodated under any circumstances. Guide & Service Dogs are exempt from this policy and charges on production of correct paperwork.
The Garden Double Rooms are located in a separate Annex Building and not the main Manor House. Not recommended for lone female travelers.
Children's Swimming times are as follows: Monday to Friday 4pm to 5pm, Saturday and Sunday 9.30am till 10.30am and 4pm till 5pm.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

The cleanliness of the room we were in was appauling. dirt in between the floorboards, cobwebs in the cupboards and wardrobe. unfinished flooring. and on the second night we got evacuated from our room due to the roof leaking everywhere onto the bed

De dame aan de receptie was fantastisch. Vrolijk en meedenkend.
Het water in de wastafel stroomde slecht door
De douche was van slechte kwaliteit, viel uit een.
Luxaflex in badkamer pastte totaal niet bij het raam, luxaflex werkte ook niet goed.
Het water in het zwemb was lekker, verder oude meuk.
Eigenlijk een budget hotel dat er leuk uit ziet, als alles opgeknapt zou zijn en met betere kwaliteit, tja dan zal de prijs ook stijgen.
We waren dankzij deze reviews goed voorbereid.
Want het was leuk om in een soort inieminie Downton Abbey te zijn (ook daar hadden ze problemen met het onderhoud 😉)
The continental breakfast was absolutely fine, great location. Have stayed here before happy to return for the third consecutive year, breaks down a trip to the west country really well
We stayed in the annex, looks a little tired and needs some TLC, will go back to the main hotel next time
Beautiful property
Location was good, facilities fantastic especially the spa. Garden room was great as we had our dog with us. The price of our stay was good. Definitely stay again when visiting family.
The manor itself is very nice. Beautiful grounds. The pool and jacuzzi are good.
You had to say hello to the reception staff for them to acknowledge you. This happened with three separate staff members. The rooms are quite tired and they weren't overly clean. The toilet hadn't been cleaned and it looked like the carpet hadn't been hoovered. The lock on our door didn't work, so we got "upgraded", but frankly the room was pokey and the bed small and uncomfortable. The cooked breakfast wasn't worth the £15.95. Tasted like it had been sat there for some time.

The infrastructure is tired.
The room was not clean and had chipping paint / clearly dilapidated areas in the bathroom.
They didn’t inform guests that there was a huge party being hosted with a live band until midnight and didn’t offer any form of remedy or advance notice. The property felt much more ramshackle than in the advertisements
We stayed in one of the garden apartments. The bed was really comfortable, we had a good night's sleep. It was nice and quiet. Location was ideal for us. Although worn, it was nice to have some comfy chairs to sit on in the room and a little seating area outside. Staff were friendly and helpful. Not many of them around though.
We were in a garden apartment, so not the main building, we paid a low price and it is clear why. There was a lack of plug sockets beside the bed (but they did give us an extension lead when I asked). Plug socket that was near the bed was loose. Some of the metal fixtures in the bathroom have seen better days and it felt a bit unloved in general. Patio doors didn't seem very secure and we felt like with a good pull they could have been opened from the outside. We may possibly still stay again, just maybe not in one of these apartments.
