Cons:

For someone who doesnt know the area navigating the big roundabout was a bit stressful. Just so much traffic but the location was great as was the food and facilities

Pros:

We were made to feel so welcome from the moment we walked in. The receptionist Gwenno was so nice and more than helpful she took us to our room on the ground floor as we had requested, she was immediate aware of my mobility issues and made sure that everything was good for me.
Our trip to Newport was to enable us to attend a family funeral. We had booked a table for 2 for an evening meal so went to the bar for a pre-dinner drink only to unexpectedly bump into another couple on the same mission. The dining room staff willingly and efficiently reorganised our tables so that we could share a table. The meal was excellent as was the service.
Breakfast was excellent and
again the staff were very helpful and friendly. Reception...Gwenno again reorganised our separate taxi
bookings for a shared bigger one. Perfect.

Cons:

We would have liked a coffee in the bar after our meal but none was available as the dining room was closed. We made do with drinks from the bar instead!

we had a brief one night stay as only visiting Newport for the marathon- it was perfect
Pros:

We didnt have breakfast as we were leaving early for the newport marathon - the bedroom was lovely and comfortable - the hotel lounge and bar area was relaxing with lovely live music on the Saturday night until 9pm - the overall decor and ambience of the hotel was lovely - we had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious

Fijn hotel met goed ontbijt die hier en daar wat verbeter punten heeft.
Pros:

De kamer is echt comfortabel en mooi strak ingericht. De bedden zijn goed.

Cons:

We konden het hotel niet vinden. 3 verschillende apps stuurde ons niet naar het hotel. Uiteindelijk na zeker drie kwartier gearriveerd. Bij de Receptie vertelde ze ons dat de route inderdaad gewijzigd was. Als hotel lijkt het mij dan aan te bevelen dat je wegbewijzerig aanbrengt. Ook dat je dit met de meest bekende Appa deelt.
Jammer.
Ook was er onder ons raam tot zeker 0130 uur veel lawaai van een groep mannen die daar stonden te kletsen. Lijkt mij aan te bevelen dat een receptie medewerker daar iets over gaat zeggen ivm andere gasten in het hotel!
