Roof terrace with stunning views.
Breakfast was good.
Drinks on the terrace in the evening. Service was very good.
Excellent location close to restaurants, chemists, flea markets, acropolis etc.
Nespresso machine.
Green vines up the building are gorgeous.
Cleanliness was excellent.

Cons:

Carpet condition in the room.
Bed was against the wall which is not ideal if a couple, fine though if single.. I had known this when booking but reality a little different.

Hoewel het Apollo Palm Hotel er visueel prachtig uitziet, laat het management op het gebied van service en klachtenafhandeling zware steken vallen. Als eigenaren van meerdere hospitality-zaken in België weten we precies hoe de sector werkt, maar dit verblijf was een grote teleurstelling. Bij het inchecken werd ons beloofd dat een privé-evenement om 22:30 uur zou eindigen, maar de harde bas dreunde door tot na middernacht. De aanwezige nachtreceptionist bleek niet bevoegd om hier iets aan te doen en een verantwoordelijke manager was nergens te bekennen.

Hoewel het hotel de fout erkent, deden ze er op het moment zelf niets aan én bieden ze achteraf geen bruikbare oplossing. Het hotel kiest hier duidelijk voor korte-termijnwinst en rigide procedures in plaats van gastvrijheid, wat voor ons reden genoeg was om onze geplande retourboeking voor later die week te annuleren. Een premium prijs, maar een zeer matige service bij problemen.

Nice decor and cute hotel, but needs a lot of polishing. Decent breakfast.

Cons:

Staff were hard to find whenever something was needed in the reception, no luggage assistance even the bar downstairs was unattended. Room was not cleaned properly a lot of dust only the bed was made and towels changed.
The rooftop has to scrap its cocktail list as they managed to distroy aperol spritz which is impossible to ruin.. felt as if it was early 2000 with adding colourants to all the cocktails.

The Apollo Palm Hotel has a genuinely cute character and the breakfast was a real highlight, well worth waking up for.

Cons:

The rooms are noticeably smaller than the photos suggest and the overall feel is more modest than the listing implies. There’s no room service and no help with luggage, which felt lacking. Toiletries are very basic, so bring your own if you’re used to the essentials. The carpet in the room could also use a more thorough clean. They don’t explain hotel services nor give any tip/advice on Athens.

Hotel com custo benefício razoável. Bom café da manhã e localização acessível a pé para a praça.

Hotel com uma vista bonita no café da manhã.

Cons:

O barulho da porta de entrada do hotel. É uma porta de ferro muito pesada. A noite a gente consegue escutar a batida de dentro do quarto, incomodando para dormir.

Amazing rooftop in nicely designed hotel

Good location for bars and restaurants and easy walking to sights. Whilst being away enough for it to be quiet

Vista e zona per me impagabili.
Pros:

Posizione ottima per muoversi in città poiché’ vicinissima alla metro. E’ stato molto comodo arrivarci dall’aeroporto: metro blu fino a Monastiraki e poi 1 fermata di metro verde, THISSIO (direzione Pireo). Appena esci dalla metro ti trovi su una deliziosa piazzetta con, in lontananza, la vista del Partenone e davanti a noi abbiamo, in mezzo agli ulivi, la famosa Agorà con il ben conservato tempio di Efesto. Tre minuti ed eravamo in hotel. Favolosa la vista del Partenone dal tetto dell’hotel, dove veniva anche servita la colazione. La zona è viva (si tengono piccoli concerti), ricca di localini affascinanti (con vista sul tempio di Efesto!) e vicinissima a piazza Monastiraki, una zona centrale che attira molti turisti. I gatti di Atene, il rispetto e la gentilezza dei Greci hanno fatto il resto.
Ottima l’insonorizzazione delle camere, la pulizia, l’arredo e il bagno. Molto gentile il personale. Allego foto della piazzetta all’uscita della metro e il tempio di Efesto.

Cons:

La colazione era varia ma francamente la qualità mi è sembrata piuttosto scadente. Mi è anche spiaciuto constatare che non c’era uno specchio a figura intera nella stanza (e questo nonostante ci fossero già stati, da parte di altri clienti, commenti negativi a riguardo). L’attenzione alle esigenze dei clienti dovrebbe essere al primo posto, tanto più che uno specchio costa davvero poco.

Insgesamt stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für uns nicht.
Pros:

Die Lage ist wirklich top! Leider war das aus unserer Sicht aber auch schon das größte Plus.

Cons:

Von außen wirkt das Hotel schön, bei genauerem Hinsehen relativiert sich der Eindruck jedoch schnell. Unser erstes Zimmer war für den Preis von ca. 200 € pro Nacht absolut nicht angemessen und wir haben uns dort leider sehr unwohl gefühlt. Danach waren wir für zwei Nächte in der Acropolis Suite, die deutlich besser war, aber natürlich auch entsprechend teurer. Zusätzlich hat der TV nicht funktioniert und an der Rezeption war zeitweise niemand erreichbar.
