Affordable and clean
Pros:

The cleanliness and the friendly staff. The whole area was comfortable.

Cons:

If I may share a small feedback: I found it a bit challenging to work while sitting in the chair, as it was quite high from the ground and not ideal for a work-from-home setup. The same applied when eating. Aside from that, everything was excellent, and I truly enjoyed my time at the place.

Pros:

The description on Expedia does not match. You have to pay to use the pool. It did not have a dining table. There was no Safe box in the room, though the owners later explained that it was being repaired. There were no paper towels as described. The air conditioner was small and weak so I had to stay in the bed area. The shower spray was weak and was confusing to operate. Also it Smells strongly of moth balls. I don’t understand how this is categorized as 4.5 stars on Expedia. I will say that the owner was very responsive via Whatsapp and made an effort to fix some of the problems but not much was improved.

Very good
Cons:

So, I came from my country and went to Manila for an exam. Arrived and entered the passcode I got but it was incorrect. I had no WiFi and no phone number to call. I tried to find a free WiFi and sent messages to host. I had my time wasted in the hot weather and noisy traffic.
Luckily I passed the exam so I gave the experience a 8.

A Hit and Miss experience
Pros:

Staff at the lobby were very helpful, I appreciate the Lady guard who assisted me on my arrival and check-in.
As for the room and general experience, let's just say it was a hit and miss. They changed the room where I was originally booked, but they assured me that the new room had the same facilities as the previous one. Digital lock so no need for keys. They did try to provide hotel- quality beddings; decor was minimal yet aesthetic.
Location-wise, it's within the CBD,just near my place of appointment; some restaurants,coffeeshop and convenience stores are nearby.
Despite some minor issues, I also appreciate that the unit representatives readily responded to my messages/inquiries.

Cons:

Just some minor inconveniences but I feel I need to raise:
Kindly update your auto-reply in booking app, because I received 2 different info regarding the check-in process (booking and via their messenger app)
Also, double-check the room and checklist prior to any guest's arrival (e.g. towels, fridge and toilet, etc.)
Had to allow the housekeeper to enter the unit while I was out because that's where they store the beddings used in all of their airbnb units. I know they are honest but still, the privacy... I could have refused but I thought of the incoming guest in the other unit.

Deceptive description
Pros:

The room was clean and rather well located

Cons:

Had to pay a 500 pesos fine for smoke detector triggered for 5s and there was no instruction on how to use the air exhaust
No soap nor shampoo
No curtain for the shower
Curtain in the bedroom let daylight pass so you get awake at 5 am
Broken chairs
Netflix not working at first, had to ask the host
Deceptive picture with gym that you are not allowed to use
Extra fee to use the swimming pool

Pros:

A very small space but it served our needs very well. A lot of little things that can be improved. But for the price we paid (~50 Canadian dollars a night), I can't complain
