Due to its location, phone signals are very limited at best. This also made the service in the breakfast a little slow.

We felt that our experience did not live up to the hype. It was extremely windy (the windiest part of the entire island). The wind made it so that we could not use the main pool during our entire stay and we found it hard to enjoy our private pool terrace. In addition, our private pool was FREEZING so we could not fully enjoy that amenity. The hotel did not seem designed to handle the windy conditions of the island. In addition, the concierge was not helpful out all in explaining how to get around the Island, what activities we could enjoy and seemed very stressed when we asked a bunch of questions. I think the hotel, since it is so isolated from the rest of the island, should offer more activities (i.e. live music evenings) at the actual resort and explain to guests how to get around the island effectively. Also, the service for food was mediocre / pool bar that they advertise was not really much of a thing as no one would serve us (the pool bar was empty for our entire 5 day stay). In addition, the food menu for lunch and dinner was the same, not making hotel meals that special. The actual restaurant has no views and is still outside, which meant it was barely protected from the wind. We really enjoyed Folegrandos and the idea of Gundari, but did not think the value for money was great.

De manière très agréable, le management a très vite réagit et la fin de notre séjour s'est déroulée de manière exceptionnelle

The architecture of the place is great however it needs to become a bit more practical, the winds in this spot are very strong which makes it challenging to enjoy the facilities, even breakfast. There could be little amendments to make the common areas a bit more protected from the winds as it is a windy island. The room was good size however there is nowhere to dry towels or the swimming suits, the shower is spacious but there is no place to put toiletries and has limited space to hang towels. There are design tricks that look nice however can easily lead to accidents (small gaps around the private pool, low entrances /doors etc). The private swimming pool was tiny. The pastries in the breakfast did not feel fresh and all was served at the same time, sweet and savoury. The road leading to the hotel is unpaved and all the sand ends up in the common areas. The hotel is quite isolated from the town of Folegandros even though the distances are small, the road is not great. The hotel reception even though polite offered no information for Folegandros island which would be nice for someone visiting first time.

The water in the pool from the room was not so clean and unfortunately the room was full of insects everywhere.
The price I think is a little bit too high for what the hotel has to offer. Its more about aesthetics, than real luxury.
But overal was a good experience.
