Gute Ansätze, sehr bemühtes Personal, aber im Gesamtpaket Service noch Luft nach oben
Pros:

Alles in allem passte das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das Hotel ist toll angelegt, mit schönem Pool und einem tollen Aussenbereich.

Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet und wie auf den Bildern beschrieben.

Wir mussten leider nachts aufgrund von Kakerlaken im Zimmer, das Zimmer wechseln. Das neue Zimmer hatte ebenfalls Tiere, so dass wir erneut wechseln mussten.

Das Personal war mitten in der Nacht sofort zur Stelle und hat alles mögliche versucht, uns zu unterstützen. Wir haben letztlich ein schönes und sauberes Zimmer erhalten.

Cons:

Das es zu Tieren im Zimmer kommen kann, ist in der Lage durchaus möglich. Allerdings sind Motten und Kakerlaken schon ein Grund, sich unwohl zu fühlen.

Pros:

The location is absolutely beautiful — the hotel is surrounded by fields and nature, making it incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The property itself is very nicely designed and the pool is truly stunning. The setting is definitely the highlight of the hotel. I also appreciated that the concierge apologized afterwards for not being there when I checked out early.

Cons:

Unfortunately, there were several issues during my stay. During the night, I woke up to find small insects crawling all over me, including in my hair and in the bed. I understand that insects are to some extent unavoidable when staying in the middle of nature, and the hotel does mention this in the room. However, I feel there is a clear difference between occasionally seeing insects and finding them actually crawling in your bed and hair while you are trying to sleep.

I also had an early-morning safari pick-up and had arranged with the concierge the evening before that I would be checking out early and leaving my luggage at the hotel. When I went downstairs, however, nobody was there despite calling and ringing several times. I eventually reached someone by phone who told me to simply leave my luggage there, which I found very uncomfortable.

The most disappointing part happened afterwards. I checked out at around 12:00 pm, and later realized that I had accidentally left an entire laundry bag containing clean underwear in my room. (The hotel did find the bag, but instead of contacting me, they assumed it was rubbish and threw the contents away. Since I had only checked out at noon, I would have expected the cleaning staff to discover the bag while cleaning the room and simply ask me whether it had been left behind intentionally.

What made the situation even more uncomfortable was that I was later sent a photo showing the empty laundry bag. This means that someone had removed my underwear from the bag before it was discarded, which I found quite uncomfortable and honestly rather strange. I understand that it may have been an honest mistake, but personal belongings — especially something as private as underwear — should not simply be disposed of without at least trying to contact the guest first.

The hotel did offer to send the bag to me in the next city, which I appreciate, but by that point I preferred not to have any further involvement.

Hier ist eine ausgewogene, aber klare Bewertung:

Das Hotel liegt sehr günstig, wenn man eine Safari im Yala-Nationalpark plant. Man kann praktisch direkt vom Hotel mit dem Jeep starten. Auch die Lage zwischen den Reisfeldern ist sehr schön und ruhig.

Das Hotel selbst ist insgesamt recht nett und das Personal bemüht sich, freundlich und hilfsbereit zu sein.

Leider gibt es aber einige Punkte, die unseren Aufenthalt deutlich beeinträchtigt haben. Das Essen im Hotel können wir nicht empfehlen. Wir hatten den Eindruck, dass die Speisen nicht frisch vor Ort zubereitet werden, sondern von außerhalb kommen. Geschmacklich war das Essen für uns leider kaum genießbar.

Auch bei der Sauberkeit gibt es Verbesserungsbedarf. Der Pool machte auf uns keinen besonders sauberen beziehungsweise einladenden Eindruck. Zusätzlich hatten wir in unserem Zimmer sehr viele kleine, mückenähnliche Insekten. Sie haben zwar nicht gestochen, waren aber äußerst unangenehm – es waren wirklich Hunderte im Zimmer.

Für eine Safari ist die Lage des Hotels wirklich hervorragend, bei Sauberkeit und Verpflegung besteht unserer Meinung nach jedoch noch deutlicher Verbesserungsbedarf.

Ich kann die Bewertung auch noch etwas kürzer und diplomatischer für Booking.com formulieren.

Pros:

L’hôtel est bien situé, le bâtiment est beau et bien décoré, avec une vue dégagée. Les chambres sont grandes. Le personnel était très sympathique (surtout le monsieur de la cuisine qui devait gérer seul le service et les plats).

Cons:

De manière générale, l’établissement est assez vieillissant. Compte-tenu du prix assez élevés, les prestations pourraient été améliorées. Il n’y avait pas d’eau chaude dans la douche. Le restaurant de l’hôtel est correct mais très cher pour ce qu’il y est proposé.
Point négatif pour le petit déjeuner qui était vraiment médiocre. Nous ne sommes pas satisfait par le rapport qualité prix, même si l’ensemble était convenable.

Vista spettacolare e arredamento moderno, piscina pulita. Ci siamo affidati a loro per l’organizzazione del safari e mi hanno stupito per puntualità e precisione. Anche per il transfer ci hanno consigliato un driver ottimo

Cons:

Da rivedere un po’ la gestione dei tempi in cucina, per la cena abbiamo aspettato quasi un’ora mentre a colazione 45 minuti una yougurt boule.
