Gute Lage, geräumige Zimmer
Pros:

Zimmer und Bad waren sehr geräumig, die Betten komfortabel.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind etwas hellhörig. Leider gibt es auf dem Zimmer keine Milch für den Kaffee.

Mooie locatie en behulpzaam personeel

Cons:

Ik boekte de kamer voor mijn ouders. En de 4e verdieping is alleen met de trap te bereiken, dat stond niet in de beschrijving. Gelukkig konden we een kamer ruilen waar ze wel met de lift konden komen.

Pros:

Tolle Zimmer im Bauhausstil. Sehr sauber und tolle Produkte im Bad. Auch Tee und Kaffee waren sehr gut.

Cons:

Der einzige kleine Mängel war das grelle Licht in der Toilette, welches in der Nacht automatisch angeht.

Good location, walking distance from many attractions. Clean. Big windows overlooking main street.

Cons:

The breakfast was ordinary. There is a separate BF menu if you have included breakfast in your tariff, so beware.
The shampoo bottle in the bathroom had conditioner, which we concluded after a difficult head bath. The girl at the checkout counter, without a trace of apology, said “you should have told us, we would have replaced the bottle”. Very rude overall. She also did not assist earlier with directions saying “she is busy as she is alone”. Would not recommend this hotel, at least for international travellers.

Beautifully designed, but ultimately style over substance
Pros:

Morgan & Mees is a perfectly pleasant boutique hotel and looks much as it does in the photographs. I upgraded to the Penthouse and appreciated the private elevator access, generous terrace, stylish furnishings, and the property's convenient location. The room itself was quiet, spacious, and a lovely place to retreat after a day in the city. If you’re booking it for the design aesthetic alone, you won’t be disappointed. If you’re expecting a luxury hotel experience, however, it’s worth tempering those expectations.

Cons:

The hotel is stylish but surprisingly bare bones. Amenities are minimal, the restaurant and bar close early, and as a result, the place never quite develops an atmosphere. It feels more like a beautifully decorated building than a hotel.

The little things don’t inspire confidence either. The menus in both the room and online were out of date. Hardly a catastrophe, but it does make you wonder what else isn’t getting much attention.

The biggest letdown was the service. Everyone was friendly enough, but there was a noticeable lack of polish. At checkout, after thanking me for my stay, the receptionist added, “You gave us a lot of work to do.” I assume it was meant as a joke (perhaps lost in translation), but it’s not quite the parting impression I’d expect from a hotel at this price I paid.

If your priority is style, Morgan & Mees delivers. If you’re looking for hospitality to match the interiors, I’d keep looking. I wouldn’t return.
