Erschliessung zu den Zimmern teilweise etwas eng aber ok
Beautiful building in a quiet street full of trees. Spacious, beautifully decorated room with some complementary snacks. Very well located for visiting Museumpark or the city center.
Breakfast is nice, but exactly the same every day, so it gets boring after a couple of times.
Het ontbijt was prima maar we hadden maar even tijd.
De kamer was prima maar de kraan bleef druppen. En je kon niet lekker onder de douche staan zonder je haar te wassen. Dus een lekkere sproeier op je rug.
Dat we gelijk om half 8 hadden kunnen beginnen met ontbijten.
Wij zette ‘s avonds nog een bakje thee (fantastisch dat dit kon) maar ik vulde de glazen die naast de kopjes stonden met gekookt water en 1 glas barste gelijk in stukken….. onze excuses nog voor de rommel die dat opleverde

Podría mejorar el sistema de iluminación de la habitación en la noche, pasos en tener demasiado luz (en el área del baño) a poca luz en la habitación. Falta como más privacidad entre el área del baño y la habitación.

De service.. schoonmakers hebben mijn kamer niet schoon gemaakt terwijl het kaart aan de deur hing... de hele dag.. en toen ik er om vroeg waren ze al weg, en zeiden ze dat de schoonmakers in de ochtend weg gaan..
Beautifully restored building, lovely interior design and excellent staff.
Friendly staff. Clean comfortable room. Lovely bright and airy restaurant. Quiet, good safe location - far enough away from the noisy centrum but close enough to walk. Many nearby shops and grocery stores. Daily replenishment of water and snacks in the room. Delicious freshly squeezed orange and grapefruit juice. Superb coffee drinks.
Our room was so small there was just space enough for the bed - no table or chairs, nor any place to store suitcases.
Useless wall cabinet with high narrow shelves and tiny drawers should be replaced with something more practical.
There was a small tabletop ironing board but there was no place to set up.
The "breakfast board" was nice the first morning, a little less so the second, and rather boring the third and fourth.
Couldn't get the patio door to remain shut - eventually a staff member explained the non intuitive method to lock it.
There is no phone in the room - you have to use WhatsApp to contact staff or go down to reception.
Power went off one night casting our room into total darkness. They did fix it. But, that was after Hubby had to dress in the dark and go down to the front desk to seek help.
Staying at Morgan & Mees was a real treat. The location is simply unbeatable — the city center, train station, and a great selection of restaurants and bars are all within a 10–15 minute walk, and there's a tram stop literally one minute from the door. Getting around couldn't be easier.
The hotel itself is a nice boutique property, thoughtfully and stylishly decorated.
Despite being right in the city, my room was wonderfully quiet — a real bonus. The in-room amenities were also a lovely touch, with Stella Mare Maris products adding a premium feel.
Breakfast deserves a special mention. The à la carte offering is outstanding — both the quality of the ingredients and the generous portions exceeded expectations. It's the kind of breakfast that genuinely sets you up for the day.
Highly recommend Morgan & Mees to anyone looking for a stylish, well-located stay with great food.
The only minor areas for improvement were housekeeping issues: the decorative cushions appeared a little tired and could benefit from either a refresh or replacement if the fabric has faded over time. Similarly, towel quality control could be tightened — one of ours had a significant hole in it, which felt at odds with the otherwise high standards of the hotel.
The connected rooms on the top floor were spacious and peaceful. We especially enjoyed unwinding in the tub and a lovely view of Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen. The staff were attentive, accommodating.
We had no complaints about the property.
