there's totally no sound insulation, so doors being slammed could be intolerable and might wake you up. if you are gonna stay below the roof level where the dining area is, noise of all the furniture being moved could be heard so loudly.

The shower pressure was low, but at least the water was hot.

1. You have to carry your luggage up very steep and often wet external staircase, with a slippery hand rail. Very dangerous.
2. The included breakfast has a poor, limited selection.
3. Stained towels.
4. Couldn't sleep at all as people partying on the rooftop from 10pm until 2:10am, they only stopped when we had to directly go up and tell them to keep it down.
5. No blackout curtains in any room so its hard to sleep past 5/6am.
6. My room on upper floor had only an internal window facing the inner staircase with the lights permanently switched on & as mentioned no blackout curtains so almost looked like daylight inside all nightlong.
7. Rooms cold and damp without good ventilation as bathooms have permanantly open windows.
Overall, not a comfortable stay in general, made worse by the fact that we had to climb machu picchu the next day very early. Absolutely terrible for the price, I wouldn't recommend.

Please stay away from there. We paid $90 for only one night and it was the worst experience ever. We could not sleep at all because of the security concerns. The lodge (you would call it a “shed”) is in a very bad shape, looks like an unfinished building. The pictures on the booking do not reflect the real condition of the rooms. The manager was quite aggressive and unprofessional. Lastly, the breakfast was awful. We could have even a bite as it seemed not fresh and clean.
Do not waste your money but more importantly your time staying in this awful “shed”.

Las gradas

Il faut demander de passer faire la chambre.

No depende del hotel exclusivamente, pero la escalera de acceso da una imagen poco agradable e insegura. Hay tachos, materiales de obra.
La vista a la ciudad de la habitacion del 1er piso, es la vista a las sogas con sábanas tendidas. Una pena.

the room had a view on a roof which contained a lot of thrash and waste so it felt very dirty. They cheap’d out on a lot of things - soaps were all diluted with water. I had cold water during shower.

There are steps to property, but worth it for the view of the town and mountains.

1. Não tinha frigobar.
2. Não tinha aquecedor (estava muito frio)
3. Fiquei trancado por 1h15 no banheiro por dano na fechadura (até chaveiro chegar).
4. Não há como uma pessoa com qualquer tipo de deficiência chegar ao hotel, que é extremamente íngreme e com uma escadaria muito alta para subir e descer.

The windows don’t block out noise, and the curtains don’t block out light very well. So, unfortunately, rest is not something you’ll find at this hotel.

The hotel’s location on Google Maps is incorrect, so you’ll need to use the location from booking.com. It’s right in the center of the town of Machu Picchu, although you have to climb a bit

There are no bedside table lamps, so when you’re in bed relaxing, you either have to put up with the ceiling lights or turn on the bathroom light to get indirect lighting.

Hubo días que faltó agua caliente. Si varias habitaciones usan el agua caliente al mismo tiempo, se termina y hay que esperar.

Subida muito íngreme e degraus incertos. Falta de corrimão para maior segurança de subir e descer

A única coisa ruim é que temos que subir 60 degraus pra chegar nele

Seul petit point, beaucoup d’humidité dans la chambre entre l’extérieur humide et la prise de douche.
