Categories

Cleanliness
7.4
Multiple mentions of moquette/carpets being unhygienic and issues with towel cleanliness; some guests also called the hotel very clean — overall mixed but leaning negative due to carpet and cleanliness complaints.
Service
9
Staff frequently described as friendly and professional and offered helpful extras (water/coffee/fruit, lockers); isolated negatives include slow check-in (16:00), insufficient staff for breakfast refills, and an incident with a €100 card hold.
Location
9.5
Repeatedly praised as central and convenient (close to tram and central station), quiet and ideal for visiting the city center.
Room Quality
7.2
Several reports of small or tight rooms, high/awkward windows, moquette, shower adjustment problems, AC that couldn’t be switched off and soft mattresses — comfort issues lower this score.
Amenities
9
Positive mentions for complimentary water/tea/coffee/fruits, water dispenser and baggage lockers; negatives include no minibar/fridge in some rooms, no evening hotel bar and no bicycle storage solution.
Value for Money
9.3
Multiple comments highlight a very good price/quality ratio and competitive pricing — overall strong perception of value.
Food and Beverage
8.7
Breakfast reviews vary: some guests praised a good, abundant breakfast while others found it sparse and poorly restocked; overall slightly positive but inconsistent.
Overall Experience
8.7
Many guests report a very good or pleasant stay with convenient location and helpful touches; recurring issues (small rooms, carpet, occasional service hiccups) temper but do not dominate the overall impression.

Fijn hotel op een geweldige plek
Pros:

Mooi en rustig hotel om de hoek van allerlei horeca, de Maas en kleine haven, niet ver van de Euromast. De rustige kamer had alles wat we nodig konden hebben, naast een fijne douche en comfortabel bed. Inchecken was makkelijk.

Cons:

De kamer wordt geopend met een zescijferige code. Die moet je wel bij je hebben of onthouden.
