De bedden waren heel comfortabel. Eten en de prijs kwaliteit waren heel goed.
Dicht bij de luchthaven. Ideaal voor een lange transfer. We konden gebruik maken van de late check-out tot 20:00pm.

Le petit bémol c'est que l'hotel est à 15 à 20 minutes en voiture de l'aéroport. Mais cela est compensé par les moyens que l'hotel a mis en place pour assurer le déplacement de ses clients.

I stayed at the Argyle Hotel near Nairobi Airport and unfortunately had one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have encountered.
Pricing & Check-in:
At check-in, staff members Maureen and her manager charged us three times more for an additional guest compared to the rate listed on Booking.com. Unlike most hotels worldwide, where double rooms are assumed to accommodate two guests, this hotel defaults rooms to single occupancy and then charges an additional $60 to amend the booking. Paying approximately $280 for a room in this location and condition felt highly excessive.
Room Condition:
The room itself was in poor condition, with visible rot, mould, and cracks in the bathroom, along with dusty surfaces and stained carpets. The advertised “garden view” was in reality a view overlooking a junkyard and nearby construction site.
Power Blackouts & Facilities:
During our stay, there were repeated power blackouts which significantly disrupted the overall experience. The outages impacted essential services throughout the hotel, including the water supply, making basic facilities unreliable and inconvenient.
Service & Responsiveness:
Communication from hotel staff was consistently slow and required repeated follow-ups before receiving any response. This was not only my experience but also that of others in my group.
Airport Transfer Misrepresentation:
The hotel advertises a “free airport transfer,” but this is misleading. The transfer is only complimentary during limited hours of the day, while guests arriving outside those times are charged additional fees. This should be made far clearer in the hotel’s advertising and booking information.
Overall:
Between misleading pricing practices, poor room conditions, repeated power outages, unreliable facilities, misrepresented services, and weak customer support, this hotel fell far short of expectations.
It had a modern feel.
On check out on 29/04 around 6am the person in the reception had to deal with a very rude customer. She gave an absolute master class of patience and manners, she kept her cool and did everything possible to deal with all the other customers in a perfect manner.
She clearly deserves a raise!

Location just 5 min from airport and flawless pick up and drop off service from hotel.
location is good, close to the airport and sgr and easy to use the express road if you want to go to the cbd. I loved the breakfast. the staff were very friendly and helpful. food was delicious (I enjoyed the chicken curry ) . rooms were comfortable and clean. overall, I would stay there again.
