Pros:

Super easy self check in process inside Happy Beck 24hr bakery. Our room was under the eaves on the top floor and was big, clean and comfortable with our own bathroom.
Great location for the price if you're walking around Zurich to see the sites, and not too far from the train station.
We weren't leaving Zurich until the evening but after check out we could leave our bags for free in an area where they could be watched by staff.
Best thing: the 24hr bakery downstairs that doubles up as the hotel reception. Such good food at a great price and with very friendly service, we didn't bother going anywhere else!

Cons:

The only thing was the noise, which did wake me up a few times. Definitely worth taking earplugs if you're there at a weekend!
It's worth noting that all the sockets are recessed so a standard European plug won't fit and you'll need a diamond shaped Swiss adaptor! (or the Co-Op around the corner sells European to Swiss adapters)

Worst experience ever. Be aware and read my feedback.
Cons:

RUN AWAY: It is NOT a HOTEL by any means. It is a room where the bed has the width of room. They squeezed two bunk beds into that room. You just have enough space to stand in in it with two people (we were 4). Not even a little free space for any kind of luggage. No TV, no fridge, just the beds and no amenities...nothing. Your toilet is outside the room at the end of the corridor and it looks like it has been built in the 60s. The worst case was those 4 narrow floors and no elevator. And this with heavy luggage. Taxi guy told us that this location is a redlight district and you can see it. All walls with gravity and police patrolling permanently. Normally I never rate anything. Dont fall for this one.

Rough but good location.
Pros:

Beds were comfortable, good lighting, 15 min walk to main train station, easy check in and out, alot of food and grocery options near by, in general it was "clean" not spotless but not dirty.

Cons:

I think it was very expensive for having to share a bathroom and having prostitutes on the same block.... Over $500 USD? To me not really worth the money. If I would have know how rough the area was I would have never booked it. Also bathroom was always dirty they for sure cleaned it everyday so that was super nice but it got dirty fast with 3-6 people using it...

Cons:

Dusche vollkommen defekt. Überall lange schwarze Haare. Schrecklicher Zigarettenduft, vor allem im Zimmer. Equipment größten Teils defekt.

Good location

Cons:

Tiny room on 4th floor. As room was in the roof space it had sloping ceilings which made the room even smaller. Calling a hotel is a stretch at best

Good for shorter stay
Pros:

This is in the city center which make me easy to commute wherever I can. I really appreciate the host for giving us ear plugs to have a great sleep at night. Overall, okay for a quick stay. The air cooler was the saviour for our stay.

Cons:

Windows can not be tilted, and that can cause suffocation. But the air cooler provided by the host doesn't made it feel uncomfy. I like the stay overall. Will recommend for everyone.
