Always amazing
Pros:

I always love staying at the Horizon. I love the peacefulness, the quiet privacy of it all. And I love the food and the staff, at the THE GRILL. Another magical dinner, my bestie shouted me dinner to celebrate a recent life milestone. In two minds about dining that evening, the Duty Manager approached in that effortless knowing warmth and asked if I'd ever tried caviar. I confessed to too many "fishy" experiences. Undeterred with quiet confidence, he assured, a fresh batch of Sturgeon had just arrived and this would be different.

What arrived was almost ceremonial, the caviar served on 'mother of pearl' nestled in a sensuously curve'd bowl of ice. The beads glistened dark translucent black. His astute coaching: he spoke of the 'caviar bump' the beads placed delicately between thumb and pinky, warmed by the skin.

The experience was 'beyond words:' each bead, did not pop nor burst, they simply melted. Dissolving into a fine aged creamy-buttery Brie so exquisitely smooth, deeply... refined each tiny pearl giving way, quietly vanishing. A soft bloom of the sea on the tongue.

I've never known such a delicacy like it. It did not need the Me'thode to follow; I would have been happy to have it stay for the rest of the evening.
