Average accommodation and probably wouldn’t stay there again due to location and facilities.
Pros:

It was clean and well maintained

Cons:

No Wifi . No information in the unit about facilities.No channels available on the unit TV except for YouTube and your own personal login for the likes of Netflix.No information or anything to operate the TV .No emergency procedures visible. Parking was extremely tight probably for anyone with a disability ( in our case it didn’t matter) . No onsite office or reception as it a 3-5 minute drive at another location motel .It isn’t run like your normal New Zealand motel but more like an apartment complex. Also thought the bathroom towels looked a little old.

Good quality for money!
Pros:

Lots of space - its an unusually large room. Also, the bathroom is wheelchair access so lots of space, too. The furnishings are all modern and new. Lots of snazzy little details like a black marble bench top etc that add to the space. Great carpark. Was able to park right outside my room door in a covered space, but also big enough for large vehicles.

Cons:

Staying downstairs, you can hear people walking around upstairs, which is a bit noisy, but at least it's only for a short period of time. The taps have an oddity where they run extra water once you turn it off and walk away, which is weird. Finally, the television could do with replacing: it constantly glitches/pauses and has static images flick across screen.

Pros:

I really like the quiet, clean atmosphere and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The plugs on the left side of the bed weren't working and the blind on the small window leaves a small gap where people can see in.

Standard modern studio apartment
Pros:

Nice standard modern apartment style motel. Kitchen, small fridge, TV, shower and heated towel rail.

Cons:

Room is supposed to be serviced daily, but all that means is someone takes away rubbish and towels and leaves a pile of clean towels on the bench. Disappointing.

Very clean, modern apartment. Didn't really notice the road noise. 👍
Very big kitchen for the space..all the bells and whistles, extra pillows and a blanket. Rangehood. All of the kitchen appliances you wouldn't normally expect.💯🧁
A closet to put clothes in with the iron and ironing board.
Beautiful spacious bathroom, Hot, hot🔥🔥 water.
Plenty of off-road parking. Rubbish bins off to the side, very tidy. 😊
Close to our event/ gathering.
Managing staff at the Anglesea Motel contacted us so we could easily stay in touch, send photos, ask questions etc.🌟🌟

Cons:

Not really a dislike... but now we know, it is easier to put Anglesea Motel into Google maps rather than the address like we did...Liverpool St is split across 3 sections, divided by 3 main Sts...🤪
But a big dislike was the bed, sorry.🤨....beautiful as it looked...looks are deceiving and luckily we only stayed overnight. The mattress was sooo hard. Not comfortable AT all... And this is major if you've booked more than one nights stay AND have a busy day/s...you just want to shower, eat and fall into bed right!!. 😔

It was a surprise to discover check in / pay / collect key at totally different location to room
Pros:

Accommodation itselfwas modern, clean and OK

Cons:

Upon booking there was no mention room location was at totally different address to check-in, payment and key-collect? If guests don't have own transport, avoid this motel as key collect location 6 minutes drive from room in un-manned swipe-card facilty. ie, if I was dropped off at sight / site, I would not have been able to access.
