A wonderful place to explore all things Zermatt from.
Pros:

The location was great for trains and buses, lovely large one bed apartment with balconies, the lift and the decor to match Zermatt. Staff at check-in hotel were friendly and welcoming. All communication re check-in was accurate and easy.

Cons:

Bathroom could have some shelves. Some instructions for appliances (oven/microwave) would be handy on the guest portal.

We loved The Pearl
Pros:

Beautiful building with beautiful views. The grounds are well kept with flowers and the room/ apartment was well sized for 3 people. My husband used the pool/ spa and said it is one of the nicest, if not the nicest facility he has ever been in. The Pearl is convenient to a grocery, many dining places, but still far enough from the downtown area that it’s quiet.

Cons:

Nothing they can do about it—we came at a time of unusually hot temperatures and there is no air conditioning.

Pros:

Great location, very comfortable accommodations. Really liked the extra space of an apartment. Very cozy.

Cons:

Only couple of suggestions, put a mirror near one of the wall plugs for hair dryer usage. No plug in bathroom at mirror. Likely a space issue, but making shower surround a little larger would be helpful.

Expected a sparse, economy facility, but was surprised by the high quality.
Pros:

Very modern facility with great kitchen appliances, huge bath tub, lots of windows, balconies with door from bedroom, and from living room. Very comfortable murphy beds in living room. Significant lounge space (sofa, dining table) even with murphy bed opened. 5 minute or less walk back to train station.

Cons:

Had to go down to Alpen Resort and Spa to pick up keys. 5 minute walk, but bit of a hassle with bags after long train ride. small elevator (but about avg for Swiss lodgings).

Excellent place to stay in Zermatt
Pros:

The apartment is very well furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We were lucky to be upgraded to a twin apartment that was a very generous size. The kitchenette is well equiped and easy to use. The bathroom is good, but had obviously not yet been refurbished and was quite dated.

One of the best accommodations we ever stayed.
Pros:

It was the best accommodation amongst the 4 we stayed during this trip and one of the best we ever stayed of all time. We were lucky to get free upgrade to a one-bedroom apartment. The apartment was spacious for two ppl. I saw two hidden built-in extra beds so I assumed it could accommodate up to 4 ppl. It was spotless clean and all the furniture are brand new, given that it was renovated in December 2025. The bed and sofas were firm but comfortable. There were a couple of closets with lots of hangers and many hooks here and there. The kitchen was fully equipped with a built-in dish washing machine. Though we would prefer a laundry machine and a dryer over the dish washing one. There's a supermarket near by. The check in/out location (hotel) was around 5 minutes walk from the La Perle. The staff at the check in hotel were lovely too.

Cons:

The only tiny downside, though it was pretty warm inside, we didn’t feel comfortable leaving the window slightly open for some air, given that our apartment was on ground floor. It would be good if a fan was provided but we didn’t find one in the unit or we might have missed it. Still overall, it was above our expectation and we loved it.
