The staff are so nice, and the location is really good

Everything. We stayed in the pool room and it was perfect. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, and it had all the amenities you’d require. The shower was especially nice, as it was super spacious. The general design and architecture of the whole space was great. I especially liked the authentic but stylish feel of the hotel, including the garden and pool which was a lovely atmosphere to relax in. The host, Angelo, was absolutely brilliant and really made the experience what it was. He was always available when we needed him, really easy to chat to, and was a pleasure to be around and spend time with.

La location, la posizione, Angelo.

Mi è piaciuta la camera e il bagno soprattutto l’aria esterna con la piscina che al ritorno dalla spiaggia dopo doccia è perfetta per relax. Inoltre, la posizione è ottima sia per il centro città a Poche centinaia di metri sia per uscire verso la penisola dell’aeroporto che ha le belle spiagge . L’oste molto disponibile e simpatico.

Koum Kapi location - 2 minutes walking distance to nice bars / cafes / restaurants.

Chania old town is also close 15 minutes by walking.

I have stayed in Thirty8 Heritage House with my partner Caroline for several nights a few weeks ago. The house is specially designed, featuring unique rooms and important historical moments which makes the whole experience wonderful. It is located conveniently to the beaches, to the wonderful old city and to numerous great restaurants. (No need a hire car as everything is within walking distance) Our room was in fact three separate rooms (sitting, bedroom, and bathroom) so clearly very spacious and super comfortable to stay in. There is a lovely pool in the garden in case you want a cool-off or just hang around and relax. But the most important was the spectacular hospitality we received from the host, Angelo. He got in touch with us before our arrival to the island and waited until our delayed flight finally arrived in the night. He is a fantastic host, answering all your questions, and helping and supporting you throughout your whole stay. The friendliest ever, 100%.

Short walk to the old town, for which we got so many excellent recommendations for restaurants and bars (thanks again) room was beautiful, always well cleaned. Was perfect, just wish we’d stayed longer.

Beautiful house with a lot of history, thoughtfully renovated, big spacious rooms. Only a few minutes walk to old town. Amazing host Angelo who is very friendly and accommodating, always responsive on Whatsapp and kindly gave us fantastic beach and restaurant recommendations.

It’s a beautifully restored property. The courtyard and pool are a wonderful bonus in this central location. Close to everything, shops, restaurants, bars, beach and harbour are within walking distance . Our host Angelo, was so welcoming and responsive, and Anna. You both are so lovely. Highly recommended. The property is really beautiful and is in such an amazing location - a 5 minute walk to a lovely beach, close to great bars and restaurants, and a short walk into the old town. The history of the building is fascinating, and the original features are preserved in stylish and unique way. Our host, Angelo, was so welcoming and helped us out with anything we needed. The room was spotlessly clean and the pool area/garden was stunning. Couldn't recommend it any more! Thanks for having us.

I had the pleasure of staying here for a week, and it exceeded all my expectations.

What makes this place truly special is Angelo, the owner. His warm personality, attention to detail, and passion for hospitality can be seen throughout the entire property. As an architect, he has created a beautiful and unique atmosphere where every little detail feels carefully thought out. You can tell this hotel is a true labor of love, something he has poured his heart into.

Unlike many hotels where guests remain strangers, this place feels more like a small community. Angelo genuinely cares about his guests and makes everyone feel welcome. As a solo traveler, I felt incredibly comfortable, safe, and at home. One of the things I appreciated most was the friendly atmosphere and the chance to have enjoyable conversations with Angelo and other guests throughout my stay. The connections I made here were unforgettable.

The location is also excellent—only a 10–15 minute walk from Chania’s Old Town. Everything you could need is nearby, whether you’re looking for beautiful beaches, shopping, bars, cafés, or fine dining.

This was one of the most enjoyable and memorable stays I’ve had, and I would not hesitate to return. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Chania.

Un petit havre de paix, pas trop loin à pied de la vieille ville et du port de Chania.
Le propriétaire est extrêmement accueillant et aux petits soins pour vous satisfaire.
Le petit espace piscine est un bonheur dans une propriété de ville.
