The very tall hostess(forgot her name) on the top floor was awesome she walked me and my mom all the way to the restaur
Pros:

I wanted to give my mom a great experience, and check-in was awesome. The front desk staff were well trained and gave me a tour like at the Ritz-Carlton. I only had my foreign driver's license and left my bags and passport at the Helliconia Hotel because I was on a trip to Abuja. The staff used my mom's info to book my reservation. I liked how tech-savvy the room was. However, the welcome letter had someone else's name, and the room's safe was locked despite my request for it to be opened; no one helped. The room was not five-star; I felt I overpaid. The view was terrible, and the room was stained, making me hesitant to lie on the bed. My best part was talking to the doorman and bell staff, reminding me of my college days working at a five-star hotel and how we treated everyone with respect regardless of status. Reminding me of the phrase, “We are ladies and gentlemen serving ladies and gentlemen”

Cons:

The room wasn't as clean as expected; the view was terrible. The waitress in the restaurant was not proactive and was laid-back. The hotel should appoint the front desk staff and the tall hostess as trainers or managers overseeing staff with a nonchalant attitude. Skylight Hotel in Addis really impressed me and I was expecting the same or more in Nigeria

I had the best one day stay and best in Lagos
Pros:

Your hotel your reception staff just overall privacy is the number one

Just ok.
Pros:

Wait times for breakfast was too long and after waiting for my food I had to take it to go due to time constraints and they wanted to charge a take-out fee. Never heard of that. I ended up not paying it but not after I was upset.

Cons:

It's not THE GEORGE. I was hoping it would be better. It's not as organized and convenient.
