Pros:

The central location was ideal for shopping. A perfect location to start the John Muir Pathway. Very clean up to date room. It was compact, but comfortable. The restaurant below was fabulous.

Great stay at Rooms Above Sugar Boat
Pros:

The staff was incredibly helpful, Sam took our very heavy bags up to our room which was up several flights of stairs. His instructions about keys, the restaurant and everything we needed to know were invaluable. Paul was helpful with transportation referrals. The servers in the restaurant were friendly, efficient, and the food was great too. It seems like all of the staff really worked together to make our stay enjoyable.

Cons:

It would have been nice to have an elevator but the handrails were helpful and we knew there would be stairs prior to our arrival.

Außergewöhnlich stilvolle Einrichtung mit Liebe zum Detail (Frenchpress statt Nescafe gab es noch nirgendwo bisher). Sehr schöne Mischung aus alten Elementen und neuer Renovierung. Top Lage und ein upgrade als Willkommensgeschenk.

Quirky, perfectly located spot, above possibly the best restaurant in Helensburgh!
Pros:

The room we stayed in was large, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The location could not have been better - positioned perfectly on the market square. The food at Sugarboat (we did more than just breakfast!), was absolutelt delicious!

Cons:

The only thing was the shower tray threatened to overspill during showering - but that was it!

Pros:

Perfect location, the room was immaculate and very tastefully decorated. Great value for money and we will definitely stay again when we come to visit our daughter at Faslane.

Pros:

Compact room and ensuite but very well designed. Lovely decor and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed. Great location, and lovely breakfast. Very nice restaurant below. Parking is very convenient.
