The location was convenient near the motorway. The small number of staff (a family?) did their best and were very friendly.
The hotel was in the middle of refurbishment, which was not made clear when booking. Some of the public rooms were not available as they were being 'done up'
The choice of food was limited. Breakfast was not clearly laid out.
Location was convenient but couldn't open a window because of noise. Didn't have breakfast
I didn't like anything. No one present on arrival. Smelt of damp/boiled cabbage.
Comfortable bed.
Disappointing room quality. Bar/reception area/outside space extremely untidy.
Very Bad
We originally had booked at the Greene King inn - on arrival there we were informed of excessive noise disturbance and alluded to security issues. We booked The Evergeen Hotel as an emergency option and are SO GLAD we did - Jessica, the owner, and her husband are two of the kindest most genuine people we've met in a long time. To say the welcoming was warm would be an understatement; and they wanted to do absolutely anything to make our stay more comfortable. The rooms are large, super clean, well maintained and great facilities; the surrounds are wonderful and our sleep was incredibly peaceful. I've stayed many places all over the world but have seldom come across such a quaint place, owner-run and deeply caring owners that make you feel like you are at home rather than in a hotel. Highly recommended ++ only 5 mins drive from the centre of town!
Nothing; everything was perfect!
My colleague booked The Evergreen Hotel for our business stay, and we were extremely impressed. Super-friendly hosts with fast and easy check-in and check-out — perfect and time-saving for business travellers.
Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, with some ingredients from their own organic vegetable and fruit garden. We even picked some lovely yellow plums before leaving!
Beautiful room views surrounded by greenery and flowers, and we enjoyed watching rabbits running around the garden in the morning. It was very relaxing and peaceful, we slept really well, and the bed was very comfortable too. 🐇🌿
Great parking with plenty of space, even for large vehicles. Highly recommended for business travellers and groups. We’ll definitely be returning soon!
The woman who answered the door and showed me to my room was exceptionally kind and helpful. Very sweet!
Just about everything else. The driveway in was unmaintained and even had trash along the edges. The exterior was unkempt and looked as if it was possibly being worked on? I’m pretty sure I was the only guest. The interior was cluttered with boxes and fake flowers. I’ve been in plenty of cozy English country inns and this was not kept to those standards. I was told to use the back door which was kept unlocked!! The room was clean and maybe the food would have been fine. But as a solo woman, I did not feel comfortable and left without staying the night.
very nice place loverly person who booked me in nice quiet place great parking

The welcome from the owner was very friendly. The location is right next to the A43 which is handy to get to Silverstone racing circuit.
This hotel is probably ok for some lads visiting the British Grand Prix and only using it to crash. It is not a place to take your wife or girlfriend. It is literally next to a very busy dual carriageway. The owners have installed very effective triple glazing to keep out the noise but the downside for a 20 degree night in summer is that the rooms are unbearable hot. They provided a small fan which helped a little but we didn't get much sleep. The room is clean but tired. The beds are very soft. We left each morning at 6 am so didn't try the breakfast and were too tired to eat at night so can't comment about the food.
The owners were really friendly & did everything to make you feel welcome.
Food was excellent.
The location was good for the purpose of our visit. However, the hotel was advertised as having an on-site restaurant and bar, but both were closed during our stay, apparently because the staff were on holiday. Having these facilities available was important to us, so this was very disappointing. If we had known about the closures in advance, we would not have booked this hotel.
The staff were very nice and friendly. However, this hotel should not be advertised as offering breakfast or dinner, as these services were not available during our stay. The hotel is also located very close to the motorway, which made it a bit noisy at night.
Nothing
Hotel was dated compared to the photos shown on site. Lots of builders materials out front. Restaurant was closed due to staff going on holiday - I booked this as it stated there was an onsite restaurant. Room was very small for 3 people. Bathroom so small you couldn't move without bumping into the shower.
No breakfast because the staff had been sent home due to lack of guests.
The hot water wasn't hot enough in the shower.
El desayuno incluido en el precio. El personal muy amable.
El ruido de la autopista que pasa por al lado.
