Excellent short stay in Dublin at the Chancery Hotel!
Pros:

My stay at the Chancery Hotel was excellent--the front desk staff and the restaurant staff were especially helpful. The room was very clean and well equipped with useful technology such as self closing curtains. The breakfast was excellent and the cappuccino to go from Lijo was a great touch! The location of the hotel was very good for walking to the major shopping and sightseeing areas in downtown Dublin.

great location with room not worth the money
Pros:

The hotel is in a great, safe location, perfect for exploring Dublin on foot. There are plenty of excellent restaurants, cafés, and bars just around the corner, making it an ideal base for a city trip.

Unfortunately, I found the room to be significantly overpriced for what I was allocated. It was extremely small, with barely any space to move around the bed. There was also a constant noise, seemingly from a ventilation system in the stairwell. I reported it to the staff, but nothing was done during my two-night stay. In addition, the shower needed repair, as it was difficult to adjust the water temperature properly.

On the positive side, the bathroom was beautifully designed, the room amenities were of good quality, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast buffet was also very good, offering a nice variety of fresh options.

Overall, I enjoyed the location and the hotel's design, but given the room size and the unresolved maintenance issues, I don't feel the room offered good value for the price.

We loved our stay at the Chancery. It was beautiful, well appointed and comfortable.
Pros:

The breakfast was amazing. We looked forward to coming down each morning before starting our day. The desk staff helped me with a tour that was cancelled, to rebook and took the time to help me rebook.

Cons:

The electronic pocket door to the bathroom was unnerving. We would be in the bathroom and it would lock on its own then open any time you passed by it.

Great hotel with friendly staff in a perfect location
Pros:

The hotel was lovely and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious.

Cons:

Our only complaint is the rooms were a bit hot and it didn't seem the AC worked very well. It was a heat wave but it made it hard to sleep. Having a fan in the room would have been helfpul.

Lage, Frühstück war gut, ein Teil des Personals war sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Unser erstes Zimmer war sehr klein für zwei Person, die Abluft ging unter unserem Fenster raus, welches auf das danebenliegende Restaurant zeigte, wo an zwei Abenden hintereinander erst ein Konzert und dann eine laute Kostümparty stattfand, außerdem konnten die Leute einem ins Zimmer gucken. Am zweiten Abend haben wir uns beschwert und ein anderes Zimmer auf dem gleichen Flur nach vorne raus bekommen, welches auch angemessener für zwei Personen war.

Das Hotel liegt in bester Lage zum belebten Viertel der Stadt. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen.
