Our stay had both positive and disappointing aspects, and I hope this feedback helps the hotel improve the guest experience.

One of the first challenges we encountered was the lack of signage along the main road directing guests to the hotel. Since the drive from the main road takes around 10–15 minutes, having clear directional signs would make it much easier for first-time visitors to find the property.

During our stay, there was a large group at the hotel. We completely understand that groups require additional attention and coordination. However, it felt like individual guests were unintentionally overlooked. My wife ordered food at one of the restaurants, and we were informed that we would need to wait until all of the group's orders had been served first. Rather than waiting an unknown amount of time, we decided to leave and have dinner outside the hotel instead. While it's understandable to prioritize group logistics, it's equally important to ensure that other guests continue to receive attentive service.

The presence of the group also made the atmosphere much louder than we had anticipated, which affected the relaxing experience we were hoping for. We had originally booked a two-night, three-day stay, but ultimately decided to check out after the second day and move to another hotel.

The breakfast selection and overall quality could also be improved to better match guest expectations. Additionally, the beach area still appears to be under development, so guests should be aware that some facilities are still a work in progress.

The Wi-Fi connection also disconnected quite frequently during our stay. Fortunately, this wasn't a major issue for us, but guests who rely on a stable internet connection for work or communication may find it inconvenient. Improving the consistency of the Wi-Fi service would certainly enhance the overall guest experience.

Sehr nettes Personal, wunderbares Hotel, sehr sauber, fantastisches abwechslungsreiches und wundervolles Essen! Der Affe war einzigartig und sehr lieb! Ländliche Stromausfälle waren nicht spürbar durch autarke Stromversorgung, weiter so!

Great staff. Very friendly. Big pool and just on beach. Food was great. Very specios rooms. Highly recommended. Loved it.

Breakfast was fine but can be a little reacher in salads. But it was great.

Das Hotel liegt sehr idyllisch mit sehr schönem Swimmingpool.Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit.Der Inhaber sehr sympatisch.Ich habe 2 Wochen gebucht und bin länger geblieben.Ich empfehle der Sand Beach Boutique Hotel jeden der Ruhe und Entspannung sucht.

Beautiful hotel in Bwejuu, lovely pool area and very kind staff
Pros:

The rooms were very spacious and incredibly nice, the hotel staff was particularly welcoming, and the pool was just magnificent. It is one of the most beautiful pools I have seen in my years of traveling to Zanzibar, the atmosphere was incredibly serene and the decoration was lovely. Bwejuu Beach is a short walk away, and it is gorgeous as well. Would definitely recommend and I personally look forward to staying here again if I get the chance.

Cons:

I would really appreciate it if the rooms had a small fridge where I could keep water cold overnight, but that is just a minor detail, and I was still very pleased with my stay overall.
