Perfectly adequate for our needs.
Pros:

We wanted to check in early as we were attending a wedding nearby. Jennie arranged this for our 2 booked rooms and was much appreciated.

Cons:

The green light above the door closer was much too bright and created light in the bedroom all night. Could this be adjusted?

Disappointing
Pros:

Good amount of space in the room and layout.

Cons:

Tv only worked from remote if you pointed it at screen from less than 10cm away.
There was a drone of an extractor fan from the neighbouring room all night and the room was illuminated by the green light above the door, which kept me awake!!
Parking was a struggle, due to a lack of spaces.

Central for my needs. Close to supermarkets and shopping centres.staff were really hospitable and the room was clean and very good value for money.

Cons:

I didn’t dislike anything about the property. It would have been better if they had the restaurant up and running. An evening meal and breakfast would have been appreciated. This was because they were looking for a new chef.

Toilet did not work adequately, shower was pokey, no plug in sink, shaving light did not work, hole in the bathroom door, bedheads falling off, given wrong room initially.

Great value and as an independent pub with accommodation, it’s great value and recommended
Pros:

The accommodation is separate from the pub and we had a warm welcome from the landlady. The pub is fun and friendly and caters for local trade - it’s great value.

It’s all good and offers value for money.

Pros:

Everything. Clean room..beautifully made bed and comfy too. Quiet place to relax. Jennie, the host a really nice lady nothing .was too much trouble. We have been a few times and are going back in a month again to stay

Poor to average hotel.
Pros:

Close to Calne

Cons:

No food available. Only made aware that they had no chef a day before we left for our stay.
Tiny shower. Kept hitting elbows inside the confined space. Bathroom door had big hole smashed into it. Holes in bedroom walls filled with poly filler but not sanded down or touched up with paint. Toilet cistern took ages to fill.

A clean base, somewhere to stay for family wedding.
Pros:

Check in was simple, room key left in a basket in reception . Room was clean and well presented. A large fan was much appreciated. En suite small and shower head and fixing need attention but usable. We were not offered breakfast as person less check in and reception locked at check out, so left key in room.
Our stay at Dog and Partridge was exactly what we needed, a bed and facilities to get ready to attend a family wedding. The wedding was amazing.

Cons:

The shower, good pressure but head and bracket need replacing.
I would have liked better instructions for checking out.

It was passable for 1 night but wouldn’t stay there again

Ground floor ,rubbish fans so rooms were very hot.

Easy check in. Super value for money.

Cons:

Cheap and cheerful but perfect for our one night requirement.
No breakfast available the morning of our stay but we were told beforehand. We have stopped for breakfast here in the past and it was superb.

Pros:

Good sized room. Good water pressure. Comfortable bed.

Cons:

Never saw any staff so can't coment on staff.
Key left in envelope for arrival and no staff upon leaving at 0940 so key placed in basket where it was collected from.
Only one large towel with 2 people staying.
Shower cubicle V small.
Bathroom room 8 requires some cosmetic finishing ie bare wood in skirting area.
