Delta Hotel gives you that feeling of being on holiday, while still being right here in Dar es Salaam.
It’s the perfect place to unwind, have a cup of coffee during the day or a glass of wine as the sun goes down. The sunset from the hotel is just magical 😍
The food has also improved significantly. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious, and it really adds to the overall experience.
All in all, if you’re looking for a lovely place to slow down, enjoy the view, have good food, and feel like you’re on a little holiday without actually leaving Dar es Salaam, then Delta is definitely the place to go!
I'm not a hotel guest, just a regular at Delta by Marriott Dar es Salaam, and honestly it's become one of my go-to spots in the city. The views are stunning and the location makes it easy to swing by for coffee, lunch, or their Friday mixers.
Sunday brunch on the jetty is a real highlight. Great spread, gorgeous setting right on the water, perfect for catching up with friends over a few hours. What really sets this place apart though is the management. The manager is genuinely hands on and attentive, and you can tell because of how the whole team treats regulars. Always welcoming, never feels transactional.
Whether you're staying here or just stopping by like I do, it's a solid choice in Dar. Highly recommend the Friday mixers and the jetty brunch if you're local and looking for a good spot with a view.
The Delta hotel is a very nice hotel very comfortable with a very gentle and trained stuff always ready to support the guest in everything is need. The food is excellent and the Sunday branch is simple amazing. The room are very comfortable, clean and the forniture are super. The location is amazing and I recommend it for business or holiday trip

We had a lovely Sunday lunch on the pier of Delta Hotel in the Msasani Bay. It is at a stunning setting with a wide variety of very nice food accompanied with good selection of wines and bubbles.

I had a wonderful visit here. The location close to the Slipway is ideal. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and has a cozy atmosphere, with a lovely garden that creates a relaxing environment. The outdoor pool is exceptionally well maintained, and the views over the bay are simply stunning, especially at sunset.
The restaurant offers very good food, and the chefs clearly take pride in both the quality and presentation of every dish. What truly made the experience stand out, however, was the staff. Everyone was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile.
Overall, this is an excellent hotel that combines comfort, great service, and a peaceful setting. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dar es Salaam.
Nice rooms, clean and comfortable. Perfectly position and strategic for social life. Nearby there are also beautiful padel courts!
The hotel is very nice, located in a very nice area, few steps away from Slipway local market and nice restaurants are around, the breakfast is nice but with no much varieties, the room are large and very clean, working staff are very cheerful and extremely helpful, the value of what you get against what you paid is excellent. The hotel has a very nice and large terrace that you use to have a drink while enjoying a very nice view of the ocean.
Difficult to check in , staff are rude , hotel policy uses every means possible to extortionate.

Unacceptable that an hotel of this category most times doesn't have hot water for shower. Had to take a few cold showers.
the fee was 388 dollar but i was charged 406 i expected a refund the hotel said this was to be taken care by you since i booked online
to lose my taxi money and i was over charged also water was cold so i didn't enjoy bathing

The location is perfectly situated in the posh masaki area looking at the ocean, and amidst the most happening places in dar. Service is pleasant and swift, food is crafted to satisfactory, and the room is spacious. Fantastic stay for most visitors, and definitely my no. 1 choice..
We went there few times for either lunch or dinner. I cannot complain about anything. The food quality was great everytime, and the hospitality and the follow up of the Hotel GM was super. Location is very nice, and dining in different locations is a plus (restaurant, Terrace, Garden)… Octopus Salad and seafood pasta are my favorites
