Extremely helpful and friendly staff!
We had a lovely stay nothing to say.
The first and most important thing was the staff were just fantastic from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Every single thing that they could help with and be involved in was automatically what they wanted to do. And always done totally cheerfully.
The price for four nights including breakfast was outstanding - maybe the best we have had in Siem Reap, and we have been there many times. And the internal meals were of exceptional value, given that they also take 15% off for guests - we had lunch with a beer and a Singapore Sling cocktail along with fish and chips and chicken satay and rice, and that came to $12.62.
I had told them in advance that we were there for our 40th anniversary, and they presented a lovely tableau on the bed to commemorate this, which was lovely to see when we arrived and were shown into our room.
I would 100% recommend this hotel as a lovely place to stay. You are a little removed from the city centre, but given that tuktuks and remorques (open large tuktuks) cost only a dollar to get into town, distance is just not a problem.
Of course we didn't see other rooms, but the lovely two-room suite they put us in was lovely because of the extra space, but there were a few things we would have liked to have seen addressed. There were no chests of drawers of any sort to unload your t-shirts, underwear etc. into, so you lived out of your bag for that, which is a bit odd. The bathroom was lovely, BUT there was no shower, only a bath (you could sit in the bath and use the hand-held spray, but that is not ideal for over 60s), and there was no light anywhere near the mirror in the bathroom (and certainly none directly above it), and so then if you opened the curtain the light from the outside bedroom window flooded in as a reflection, so shaving was, I have to say, a real nightmare.
And the positioning of the electrical sockets in today's electronic world was rather unhelpful. One could manage, but a little more thought would be time well spent.

This hotel is the best choice because by staying here, you're helping students and people in need. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood but within walking distance of everything. The pool is a lifesaver in Cambodia's sweltering heat, the staff is lovely, and it has every amenity you could possibly need.
Please bear in mind that they serve a modest breakfast.
