Hôtel magnifique, avec une vue superbe sur la chaîne de montagnes en face et proche du château et du bazar à pied (avec des passages surprenants dans des ruelles sombres et étroites)...
La chambre était sublime, même si l'on entendait un peu les autres personnes dans le couloir... Sa vue était à couper le souffle.
Le repas, comme le petit déjeuner (servi à table) étaient succulents et le personnel charmant.
Ils nous ont demandé par whatsapp d'être prévenu de notre arrivée et gère notre véhicule. Un véritable plus...
Seule ombre au tableau : le paiement est demandé en liquide et si l'on paie en carte, il assimile 1 euro à 100 lèques, ce qui a augmente le prix de la chambre de plus de 8 euros par nuit. Du coup je n'ai pas laissé de pourboire... C'est dommage...
Et un élément étonnant mais pas gênant : il faut faire son lit en arrivant car le drap est plié dessus mais pas installé sous la couverture.

La propreté, le confort de la chambre, le déco, la gentillesse du personnel et le petit dejeuner gargantuesque (le jus d oranges frais etait merveilleux) 1000 mercis.
L emplacement : Il ne faut pas avoir peur de monter la rue pavee en voiture puis de rejoindre la réception qui s occupera ensuite de garer la voiture et d' obtenir les autorisations de stationnement.
L hotel est excentré.
Luxe hotel voor Albanië. Lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt. Fijn om buiten op het terras te zitten met mooi uitzicht op de omgeving. Was even wandelen naar het centrum van Gjirokaster (10 min). Gastheer parkeert de auto voor je en haalt hem weer op als je vertrekt.

It is a very short walk to the old bazaar so up to you if you are okay with that.
Buena ubicación a 5min andando del centro, todo limpio y instalaciones nuevas. Muy bueno el desayuno. Puedes pagar en targeta y tienen parking privado. Muy serviciales y amables en todo momento.

We liked everything but we didn’t know how parking is functioning, so just comunicate in advance with the guests.
This was my second time at the Stone Sky. I left the first time very satisfied with my stay and left the second convinced that this is a place I will hopefully come back to and that I would suggest to anybody asking for an advice on where to stay in Gjirokastër. It's not only about the beautifully renovated old house where it is located, the wonderful room, the lovely terrace, the superb breakfast (their scrambled eggs are among the best I have ever eaten), the parking service... it's about the people running it. They are kind and helpful and efficient to a commendable degree and make you feel more than a simple guest. Thank you Vango, Tomi and Ghini (sorry if I misspelled your names) and everybody else working there whose names I don't know. Wish you success and hope to be back one day.

Lieu très bien situé, avec un personnel très professionnel, petit déjeuner exceptionnel, possibilité de manger sur place.
El hotel es bonito, con gran desayuno (casi diría que lo mejor) y unas habitaciones amplias. Está algo subido de precio para mi criterio, ya que es un hotel bueno pero no llega a ser fabuloso.

The location was stunning, the accommodation was comfortable while being impeccably clean, customer service was wonderful, and the included breakfast was delicious. It’s a family run business that cares about what they do. They went out of their way to help me and even took me somewhere for currency exchange. Highly, highly recommend. I stayed in a 5 star hotel in Albania and stone sky was much better and cleaner. One of my favorite stays to date. Especially as a solo traveler.
If you’re not capable of walking hills you might want to taxi into old town otherwise it’s a 5-10 min walk on uneven ground. Not too far but secluded enough that it’s away from the chaos of old town. I personally enjoyed the walk.

Un hôtel sublime avec beaucoup de charme, bien équipé, propre et des vues à couper le souffle.
Bémol, qui n’en ai pas vraiment un, il est situé en hauteur, (comme toute la ville d’ailleurs) donc s’attendre à marcher sur des routes en pentes.
