A deposit may be required at the property.
Rose is a lovely place to stay, and the hotel is well situated on top of the hill, overlooking the bay. The room was clean and tidy and nice to have a balcony. A simple offering but including a fridge in the room which was handy.
The breakfast buffet was extremely simple with wasps all over it and not worth 8€ so we got food from the local shop to eat on our balcony instead. Dinner options are also very simple but we didn’t try any.

Pulizia e poca attenzione
Sve mi se dopalo sve pohvale
Personel très à l'écoute et serviable. Je recommande cet hôtel.
Tout était ok
I stayed here for two weeks, and I didn't have car.
It is quiet and the view is beautiful.
Some practical things, for someone staying here in July 2026:
-I paid by card in the hotel, the little kiosk in the village, in the restaurants Adriatic Rose and Aragosta.
-There's a boat going several times a day to Herceg Novi, which is beautiful and worth a visit. The times are available by the water and in reception. Price is 7 euro one way and 10 round trip. The boat goes from a pier just beyond Adriatic restaurant. I paid cash, not sure if you can pay by card as everyone I saw also paid in cash.
-Some other reviews seem to have been listened to, so some things others have complained about no longer apply. For instance, my room had a shower curtain, and there is a breakfast buffet.
-There's a fridge and a kettle in the room. There are mugs, glasses and tea bags, but no instant coffee. You can buy instant coffee, or iced coffees, in the village kiosk. Your own cutlery and plates are useful, at least if you're staying for a while and particularly given the limited food options. The balcony has chairs and a table, but not the room itself. The room is fairly spacious and has a lot of wardrobe space. There was a hair dryer and shoe horn in my room, too.
-There's a buffet breakfast, with hot and cold food plus juices and tea bags for 13 euro. Coffee, even instant, is inexplicably not included. The breakfast itself could do with a bit more love, I ended up making my own in my room the second week of my stay.
-The hotel serves crepes and pizzas in the evenings from 18:00, both of which are decent.
-The village itself has three restaurants plus a small grocery/kiosk selling drinks, snacks, yoghurt, bread, fruit, sunscreen, etc. The kiosk's open until 22:00 most days.
-There are two beaches in the village. They are not private to the hotel and the beds are expensive (40 euros, 60 for parasols).
This is an "independent host"! That shows up in the quality of towels, food, cleanliness, service, etc. The information that it is an independent host is found under Legal information, making it somewhat hard to find. It shows up in Booking's search as a hotel. It feels more like an Airbnb than a four star hotel.
-Booking.com's descriptions are vague and/or incorrect. I had a "deluxe" double room, but not the faintest idea what makes it more deluxe than any of the others. It's impossible to figure out whether your room has a TV, and I felt a lot of practical information was missing. Checking the hotel's website and Instagram didn't help me much either.
For example, Booking claimed the room had a bath tub, although it didn't and it's clearly not present in the pictures. I doubt that some of the facilities listed in fact exist (such as a 24 hour security guard - there's some CCTV though), and the kiosk is in the village, not on hotel premises.
-I could find no fire detector/alarm anywhere in the room, nor any evacuation signage/emergency information. I did find a fire alarm in the corridor below my room.
-There are indeed a lot of stairs, close to 200 of them from the parking lot to the village. If you're disabled you definitely would not want to stay here. Unless you're on the top floor you also have to lug your suitcase up and and down stairs.
-The peninsula isn't connected to mains water, so you're advised to drink bottled water. That information is nowhere (except in reviews). Bottled water is not provided for free by the hotel.
-One morning of my stay there was no water at all, as the water has to come in by truck.
-A lot of the time there was an awful smell from the drains in the bathroom.
-The cleanliness is so-so. My room had two wine glasses, they were both dirty when I checked in. The daily service meant towels were changed, bins emptied, and a roll of toilet paper added.
Beautiful location, stunning view, pool facilities are really clean and lovely. The town is really beautiful, could have stayed a few days relaxing.
We had the budget room, so we knew what to expect. But a few small details would have improved the experience, like coffee in the room or a small lamp or light switch next to the bed.
