The view, the complex by it self, the staf, everything!
Het uitzicht en de locatie
Very nice and helpful staff
The STEPS from the apartment to the pool and to the beach and they were very steep and the hand rail was very loose and did not feel safe when holding on to them . There was only l shop but that was close and you needed to get a water taxi to other side is coast to get any I needed
The views from the hotel are incredible and Marco and the team were amazing ! Marco was very kind and also provided a taxi service.
The pool wasn’t yet filled and there was only pizza on the menu in the evening as the local restaurants weren't yet open. This wasn’t Agape’s fault as we came before the season started, but maybe just something for other guests to bear in mind if booking this time of year.
It has nothing of interest except the view.
Everything about the place was horrible and horrendous. The staff were unprofessional, they didn't care about the guests, the only thing they cared about was maximizing profits. They over charged for everything, for example, they tried to sale me a 4.57 euro battle of wine for 30.00 euros. The food was extremely expensive and tasted crappie.
The rooms were extremely darty and hastly put together. The bathroom had mold growing everywhere. The fumes of ammonia would raise up everytime you flashed the toilet. Moreover, the road leading up to the location is dangerous, one wrong turn and you might find your self plunging down into the Bay from a height of 500 meters. If it happens to rain during your visit, the lights will cut off for about 45 minutes. Also they truck in fresh water every 2 days because there is no infrastructure to speak of.
They didn't care about Western European patrons except for Serbians. If you are Serbian this is the right place for you because the owners were Serbians and they will treat you like a king.
The vibe and mood of the place was ominous and it had a hunting feeling to it. My wife and I stayed there for a month thinking it was going to be peaceful but it was anything but peaceful. We couldn't understand why we couldn't sleep until we did a little digging around and found out.
Rose was famously pillaged by Saracens in 867 AD, destroying much of its early glory. They killed a lot of people, women, children. Everyone was killed! And because of that, we think that's why the place has a negative vibe to it.
