Smoking is prohibited in all parts of the Hotel. The hotel prohibits smoking. In case of violation of this rule or careless use, we will be forced to charge you a cleaning fee of €300 per night, plus compensation for increased material damage.
You can stay with a dog, ONLY in Superior City View room OR higher room categories, and with a weight limit of 5 kg. Please note that your dog is not allowed to access the restaurant or the bar. Good location. The room was quiet, and no outside noise could be heard.
We had to wait 50 minutes for our room after the check-in time, which did not feel comfortable, especially while being pregnant. The room had two separate beds instead of a double bed, which we had not selected. There was no separate bathroom in the room, which felt unusual and inconvenient, especially if one person needed to get ready earlier than the other. The cutlery in our room was dirty. The room was also very cold, and the fan was difficult to adjust.
The wire time allocated for breakfast in the morning was very helpful to not have such a busy crowded lobby. The facilities in the room were perfect and especially lovely was the balcony with the view of the castle. The central location of the hotel is perfect for access to any of the places you need in Ljubljana.
The laundry service should have clearer terms and pricing. When enquiring at the front desk I was led to believe the pricing would cover the type of garment where it was actually the price per garment.

TV was repaired on the third day after complaining repeatedly over three days.
Services such as sachets for coffee etc. take a long time and repeated calls
Basin is inside the bedroom in open. Never seen such a thing in any hotel.
Friendly and patient staff, very clean rooms. Small and charming design details in the rooms (like the little kitty in the WC :-) ). Clean and spacious parking garage. Location is simply unbeatable. Thanks for the upgrade to "castle view" - as repeat guests we appreciate the gesture.
