Had a really lovely visit! Travelled solo for 4 days and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of the hotel
Breakfast and staff were excellent. The rooms were great and the near airport location is very good.
EXTREMELY disappointed that there is no reserved space for parking and one has to hunt in the lanes nearby.
Also the indoor pool opens at 10am and closes at 6 pm. The staff would not entertain my simple request to keep it open till 7pm so that people like me on work trips could use it. Said that the owners wouldn't allow it and would not even speak to the owners to check!!

Nous avons séjourné une nuit dans cet hôtel boutique suite à une arrivée tardive liée à notre vol. L’établissement avait été informé en amont et tout était parfaitement organisé : arrivée simple, consignes claires et préparation irréprochable malgré l’horaire tardif. Un vrai point positif.
La chambre était très belle, spacieuse et confortable — certainement le grand atout de cet hôtel. On ressent immédiatement le charme d’un établissement à taille humaine avec un nombre limité de chambres, ce qui semble offrir une expérience habituellement très agréable.
Malheureusement, notre courte nuit a été écourtée par des travaux chez les voisins ayant commencé dès 7h du matin… dommage après une arrivée tardive et une nuit déjà réduite.
Le petit déjeuner était très « so British », original et sympathique.
Concernant le personnel, un point reste perfectible : nous avons trouvé le contact assez distant, sans réelle attention portée aux clients. Par exemple, personne ne nous a demandé si notre arrivée tardive s’était bien déroulée. Cela semble toutefois être une impression que nous avons parfois ressentie lors de notre séjour à Malte, où l’accueil manque parfois de personnalisation.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It’s a smaller boutique hotel with beautiful and cozy common areas that create a very relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent, with high-quality ingredients, and the breakfast room itself is very tastefully decorated. The staff were always friendly and welcoming, and the bar prices were fair and reasonable.
The bed was very comfortable, the rooms were spacious, and the location was very convenient, there is a bus stop close to the hotel with direct connections both to the airport and to Valletta.
As for the things that could be improved, it would be nice to have a slightly larger selection of sweet breakfast options and a bit more variation in the daily breakfast menu, although the breakfast overall was truly excellent. Also, we think the pools should stay open longer than 6 PM.
From the moment we arrived, we were truly impressed. The hotel is crafted with exceptional attention to every detail, evident in every corner. The location is equally impressive—set in the heart of a charming small town, right on the main square, just steps away from a magnificent 400-year-old cathedral. Despite its tranquil setting, the hotel is only a 10-minute drive from Valletta, making it perfectly positioned for both relaxation and exploration.
The service was impeccable and perfectly complemented the overall experience.
