Beware. Shower has extremely flimsy rounded not fixed doors that r not solid glass!! Rounded with no way to grab or hold onto when you step onto the very small slick shower floor. Management Will tell you they cannot put down any tread strips or a matter to prevent possible slippage or accidents, as a sanitation law in Iceland. But discovered otherwise. As soon as I stepped in with one foot into the shower, after making sure shower water temp ok, I feel backwards due to its extreme slickness. Fell against the bathroom radiator sink pipes n floor. Bathroom is very small. Resulted in over a 6” cut down my right lower leg n both knees from falling against radiator sink n floor. Leg required extremely tight overlapping bandaging for over 2 weeks. If not, then otherwise blood every as in room both days there.
On top of that - Electric teakettle was defective n leaked all over desk first night while we were asleep! We had checked in in, unpacked, n then went to bed. The tea kettle water flooded desk n Ruined my apple mouse, maps, itineraries n damaged camera n laptop plus more. This was our first night’s stay in Iceland!!!
Management had to clean up blood both days from all over n bloody towels. Provide additional bandages. Made us lose over 2 precious sightseeing hours.
Management’s only comment was accidents happen n “Icelandic Law” says can’t protect guest by texturing in some way protect guests from slippery shower floor. N to top it off, management showed zero care or concern except for the nice young man on duty both mornings who knew what seriously had happened but he had absolutely no authority!!
If you stay there be extremely careful you do not get injured by shower floor or anything else wrong happens as from personal experience they do not care except for $$$
Iceland is absolutely wonderful!! All our other hotel stays fabulous rest of 3 weeks bUT if stay here please pray you will stay safe!!!
Shower stall dangerously unsafe. No fixed glass on shower. Rounded flimsy doors that you can’t hold on to. No grab bars, shower mats, tread, texture etc on extremely slick when wet shower flow. Possible defective tea kettle. N no concern for your safety or wellbeing!!! N stating Icelandic law can’t provide any of these as a sanitation law which discovered as sequential hotels was untrue. N they were appalled when they saw my injuries n heard what happened!! Even more so to the Hotel’s response Accidents Happen”.

Grosse Zimmer und Kaffemaschine mit Kapseln. Frühstück nichts spezielles aber ok.
Restaurant war leider geschlossen und sonst gabs im Dorf nix. Dafür gabs Rabatt beim empfohlenen Restaurant im Nachbarort
l'emplacement au bout du monde . cet hotel au bout de la Péninsule de Snæfellsnes. au calme et tellement beau
pas d'autre choix de restauration que le restaurant de l'hotel tres limité
Camera di albergo classica un pò piccolina, pulita, silenziosa per tre persone, senza lodi ne infamia. Per una notte/due va bene. Colazione discreta ma organizzata male nella sala (dovevi passare a fatica tra i tavoli di chi era già seduto per accedere al buffet). Parcheggio comodo e gratuito davanti all'albergo.
Gute Lage, um die Halbinsel Snaefellsnes zu erkunden. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstück ist einfach, aber ausreichend.
Den Duschvorhang im Badezimmer finde ich nicht zeitgemäß und auch nicht sehr hygienisch.

Location was nice and it was quiet
Room was very basic.
Only one reading lamp for 4 people…
There was a dip in one of the mattresses- caused me a nice backache in the morning.
Bathroom was having a curtain around the shower which did not reach the floor which meant that the whole floor was covered with water after showering - so for anyone to go to the toilet meant walking on a wet floor.
There is no fridge in the room so be mindful if you have anything that needs refrigeration.
There was also a strange, sour smell in the room and bathroom.
Breakfast was simple, coffee was ok. Overall it was a feeling of a motel rather than a hotel. Comparing to the other places we stayed at during 12 days in Iceland this was the saddest :(
The units were spacious and accommodating. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was fantastic. The included breakfast was decent and serviceable. The on-site staff was very helpful in providing keys after-hours. The town was lovely.
The units were pricey, but we booked late and it was the high season, so that's probably expected.
