The property has a lot of potential.
Pros:

Very modern for the age of the building and neighborhood. Has been nicely renovated.

Cons:

No elevator.
Not their fault, but we were there when the city had no water service.
Three girls on our floor had a SCREAMING fight at 10pm and since there was no one at the front desk after 8pm, we could not report them to anyone. We had a 5:30 am flight so it interrupted our sleep.

Good value with minimal onsite facilities (limited private parking, no restaurant).
Pros:

Good value for money, with clean rooms and good location (in Santurce) within 10 miles of drive from the airport. Needed a place to stay overnight before heading out of San Juan the next day. But would not recommend this place for longer stays.

Cons:

No elevators so had to lug a large suitcase up 3 flights of stairs. If we had known beforehand, would have split the luggage into two carry-on size suitcases. Also, the private parking was full so parking on a busy street in the middle of night was a challenge.

Great value for money in excellent location.
Pros:

The Looking Glass is excellent value for money. The location is a good launching point for anything around greater Santurce but also for if you want to go further afield. Ubers easy to get and drop off. Lots of coffee around the area. Showers had hot water with good water pressure and many towels. Bed was comfy.

Cons:

It is very loud due to the design of the space and conversation or movement travelling. They provide earplugs. You will surely use them.

Cons:

La habitación es MUY pequeña. El lavabo del baño está dentro de la ducha… muy poco práctico. Si te quedas una noche no está mal, si te quedas más te falta por todos lados.

It was decent for 1 night and the staff was nice.
Pros:

It was accessible to other locations if you took an UBER. If you walked to Condado it was a 30 min walk. I guess it’s up to preference and budget.

Cons:

1/ modern keyless entry- not my preference. 2/ walk up- something to keep in mind, when carrying up luggage through narrow stairs. 3/ the shower design cause the water to spill onto the floor. 5/ bedroom cement walls gave an industrial feel; lighter walls might help the room to be open and bright.
