Location was great.
The size of the place was good.
The kitchen was good, with enough storage and cabinets.
Whenever I reached out, I got a very quick response — this was great.
Every request was met (but everything comes at a price).
The staff were very attentive — though you only ever see one person, who handles housekeeping. There is no reception.
When you walk in, the building feels very old.
The stairs creak.
Some of the wallpaper is peeling and worn, but no renovation is being done.
The stairs aren't being renovated either.
Housekeeping towels and supplies are kept in sacks in the hallways — seems there's no closet for them. This gives a quite dirty impression.
This was the first time I've seen a hotel listing on Booking with no air conditioning. I didn't think to check for it, and since we hit very hot weather, it was a pretty bad experience.
A portable AC was available for an extra fee. We took it, but it definitely doesn't cool — it just blows air. The machines were very dirty and clearly never serviced.

Le logement est idéalement placé (en face du musée d’histoire naturelle de Londres) et très bien décoré.
Il y a de l’espace et c’est très facile d’y accéder.
Hôtel très arrangeant pour une arrivée plus tôt que prévue.
A noter que l’emplacement est bruyant (sur une rue très passante) pour 2 chambres sur 3 alors il ne faut pas craindre le bruit de la circulation.
La propreté du logement était assez moyenne.

The apartment was beautifully decorated but would need a little renovation. Location was great!
Great communication with the host. Very accommodating and quick to reply. Met us at the property and helped us with our luggage up the stairs, into the lift and into the apartment. Very friendly lady. Communication was great throughout our stay. The apartment is very spacious and it was amazing to have the view of the Natural History Museum out of every window! We settled in quickly and made it feel like home. It’s a perfect base for exploring the local museums on foot!
It is on a busy road but we knew this before booking. Bring ear plugs if you struggle to sleep through traffic noise! It doesn’t come with any provisions like milk but there are plenty of shops within walking distance. Tea towels would have been helpful so bring your own if you plan to eat in.

The apartment itself was very good. Loved high ceilings - about 4.5 m tall and the location is right across the natural history museum, so the view is excellent. We found it to be clean and cosy and quiet. Very close to grocery stores, bus stops and the tube. We walked a lot and if you love walking you can pretty much get to the most central locations by foot. The neighborhood is great, upscale and very safe. Also, the host accommodated us early - we asked because our flight arrived early in the morning. It was very nice of her.
There were some small hiccups with wifi - it was not stable during our stay and also in the kitchen there was not enough utensils, but the host and the manager tried to help in a timely manner.
Lovely location, stylish apartment, clean and spacious, perfect for a family of four. Would stay there again!
Everything was great. Just two comments. One of the beds was not that comfortable. A bath mat would be very useful.

Slaapkamers aan de straatkant te luidruchtig, te weinig isolatie van de ramen. Zeker earplugs nodig om goed te kunnen slapen.
The apartment is very comfortable and clean, and well equipped. We stayed in the apartment for a week as a family of five and it suited us very well. The location is excellent too. We’d be happy to come back.
We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in South Kensington! The location is fantastic—very well situated and convenient for exploring London. It’s in a lovely area, close to two tube stations, as well as supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, and museums, which made everything very easy for our family during our week-long stay.
The apartment itself was comfortable and worked perfectly for us. Check-in and check-out were both very easy and smooth. We also really appreciated how responsive and helpful the host was throughout our visit, which made the whole experience stress-free.
Overall, a great stay and we would happily come back. Highly recommended!
