It's ideally situated in Singapore. The staff, the venue and the breakfast are extraordinary!
Not enough space in the room for the luggages and the clothes. A large wardrobe with shelves would be perfect instead of an open seat behind the door.
Schöne zimmer, bequeme betten. Gut gelegen mit kurzer Entfernung zu Bus & Bahn. Es sind auch ein paar gute Bars in der Nähe.

Lack of chilled drinking water. Surely you could put a couple of bottles in the fridge?
Room service was non existent if reception was busy. Phone cut off after approx 30 seconds. Went down to get our own drinks but bar unwilling to provide proper glasses, plastic only.
No practical seating in quite a small room, to be fair we knew our room was not going to be huge, but the tiny bench seat behind a peninsular table was not suitable for a moderately sized couple to sit and relax in. Better to leave the space clear for luggage.
Lack of explanation of DND system so we were woken by housekeeping 3 hours after we went to bed after early morning arrival, and again the next day. Only after mentioning for a second time that there was no Do Not Disturb sign was it explained there was a button by the door to press to illuminate a DND light outside the room.
Worst of all was apparent failure to book a suitable taxi for airport transfer at 5.30am. Taxi arrived 10 minutes late (Concierge frantically messaging to get one at all) and was smaller than had been promised, our luggage only just fitted in with restricted room for the two passengers. Bad way to end our stay.
The bed is incredibly comfortable and its huge! The location is fantastic, with easy access to chinatown, hawkers markets, metro stations and cool pubs/cafes. Rooftop pool and bar are great and the staff were all very attentive and welcoming.
Lighting controls in rooms are overcomplicated and would benefit from a bathroom only night light (currently the night light included a light at the entry which is not ideal for sleeping). There is a flickering light or sensor in the ceiling and the bath robes were a little old with some tears and holes.
Great location, friendly staff, nice pool, nice deco, water filter, very little plastic or single use items.

Breakfast was very average. Poor selection. Rooms small but functional.
Very nice, upscale hotel on the edge of Chinatown. The rooms are clean, bed was comfortable and the staff were very attentive. Great location to explore Singapore, as there is a metro station nearby and you can walk many places as well. We really enjoyed using the rooftop pool during the heat of the day. The onsite restaurant is very expensive compared to other options in the area (hawker centres) but the couple of meals we had there were good.
The location of the hotel is good for exploring Chinatown and Singapore of course. The MRT station is close by and only 5 minutes by foot away. The staff and concierge on our arrival and departure were helpful with our luggage. The pool on top of the hotel offers a spectacular view over the city and Chinatown. Overall the hotel is cozy and clean. The breakfast offers specialties, but is mostly oriented at international/western breakfast.
During peak times at breakfast, waiting to be seated took a bit longer, but staff are helpful and quick, when seats get free.
Great location close to Chinatown and many restaurants and bars. Easy walking distance as well to markets and temple as well as hop on hop off bus. Loved the bed linen so soft and cosy. Loved the pool and breakfast.
The room was quite snug - not too much room to move and nowhere to sit. But typical of Singapore hotels.
The view from the room and the breakfast were spectacular!
The room had a strong odour of mould, most likely coming from AC. The water temperature has been constantly changing while taking a shower - it was impossible to set even temperature.
