I had a very disappointing stay. The room was extremely cold, but the staff refused to give me the air conditioner remote control or adjust the temperature. I even told them I was getting sick because of the cold, but instead of helping, they replied, "Don't forget you're staying in a shared room."

I understand that it's a shared room, but guests still deserve basic comfort and respect. The room was not comfortable at all, and the staff's attitude was unprofessional and uncaring. I would not recommend staying here.

This property is advertised as having 24-hour reception, which was the main reason I booked, as I was arriving early morning from a long international flight. I even booked an extra night so I could check in upon arrival.

Before my flight, a staff member messaged asking for my expected arrival time which I thought was odd but advised I expected to arrive around 6am. My flight arrived early and I reached the property at approximately 5am, only to find the door locked, no doorbell, I messaged with no response. As a solo female traveller, I was left outside in the rain for almost an hour with nowhere to go.

When I raised my concerns, I was told the staff member was on a break and had set an alarm for 5:55am. Rather than acknowledging the issue, she became defensive and suggested I should have walked around the building to look through windows and find her. I do not believe guests should be expected to search the property for staff, particularly when a property advertises 24-hour reception.

I understand staff need breaks, but if reception is not continuously staffed, this should be clearly communicated or alternative arrangements such as a doorbell should be provided. Had I known there would be no staff available before 6am, I would have remained at the airport and avoided the situation entirely.

The lack of accountability and empathy was disappointing and negatively affected my stay. In addition, the building had a damp smell with limited ventilation, and the private room was extremely small with little space for luggage.

I would not recommend this property to travellers who are relying on genuine 24-hour reception or who value professional and hospitable customer service.

Don't be fooled by the photos. The property is nothing like what's advertised. The listing is staged to look like something it isn't, and the reality is a clear step below the standard you're paying for. I booked based on those images and regretted it within minutes of walking in.

What turned a bad stay into an unacceptable one was the response. I raised the mismatch immediately. Booking.com support went silent for over 72 hours, well past their own 24-hour window. The property refused any refund and instead told me to find a stranger to take over my room so they could pay me, even suggesting I post the reservation on Facebook Marketplace, which goes against Booking's own terms.

I left after one night and rebooked elsewhere at my own cost rather than spend another night here. Long-time Booking user. Save yourself the money and the headache and book literally anywhere else.
