The location, the bed and the atmosphere
Surrounding street; but location wise is good.
The location was very handy for us as we were travelling by train. Lovely hotel with lots of thoughtful details like the beautiful shower gel and body lotion in the rooms. The reception staff were delightul and very helpful. Breakfast delicious.
The cleaning was very half-hearted. Bathrooms not wiped down, toilet rolls not replaced so we had to go hunting for them. Such a shame that this spoils a great place.
The location was great - very close to the train station. Staff was very helpful when the remote control batteries had to be replaced late in the afternoon.
The room was on the smaller side, there was a smell of sewage in the bathroom and blackout curtains didn't close all the way.

Close to transport
Nothing
A very good location, with easy access to all parts of the city and close proximity to the train station. Despite this, the room was impressively quiet. The air conditioning worked well, which made the stay comfortable. Breakfast was enjoyable, and some members of staff were helpful and welcoming. I also appreciated the lounge area on the top floor, which was a nice place to relax.
The room was extremely small for a double room. Due to its attic-style layout, a significant portion of the already limited space was taken up by the sloped ceiling, making it difficult even to access the small window. The furniture (bed and chair) felt oversized for the room, which further reduced the usable space.
Some practical aspects could also be improved: some wardrobe hangers were placed unusually high and difficult to reach, even for someone fairly tall. Additionally, the bed and pillows were not very comfortable.
A notable drawback was the absence of a mini-fridge, which is somewhat surprising for a hotel advertised as 4-star.
The place is just the right size, with a boutique feel and a lovely facade.
Things were tricky when we arrived - it was hot, we had a top-floor room, and the a/c wasn't cutting it But the marvellous Margarita offered us a cooler room to get us through the first night, then moved us to a great room the next day. A lot of extra care went into making our experience as good as it could possibly be. As a result, we love Kazakiwi, its staff and its urban chic. Fantastic!
