Meryal Waterpark is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 to 18:00, and closed on Monday.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Beautiful property ruined by rude staff, poor food, and a very disappointing all-inclusive experience.
Pros:

The only positive aspect was the appearance of the property and the location. The hotel itself looks luxurious from the outside, but unfortunately the service and overall experience did not match the price or reputation at all.

Cons:

The all-inclusive package was an absolute rip-off. Staff constantly made us feel unwelcome whenever we tried to order food or drinks, as if we were doing something wrong by using a package we already paid for. They repeatedly counted the drinks and food items we took and kept questioning our eligibility, which was extremely embarrassing and uncomfortable. There was no clear structure or communication about what was included, and different staff members gave different answers every time.

The food quality was also extremely disappointing. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner had very limited variety, and most of the food was bland and tasteless. For a hotel marketed as premium luxury, the dining experience was far below expectations.

The worst part of the experience was at Meryal Waterpark. The staff there were absolutely disgusting in the way they treated guests. We were spoken to very disrespectfully while asking about a cabana and were indirectly told that we “lower the standard” of the place just by trying to get one. It was shocking, humiliating, and completely unacceptable behavior from hospitality staff.

Overall, the entire stay felt unwelcoming, disorganized, and nowhere near worth the amount paid.

Pros:

Overall, it was a good stay. The property is in a great location, the water park is excellent, and the rooms are newly renovated, modern, and very appealing.

Cons:

On the downside, the resort appeared to be understaffed during our visit. Check-in was delayed until around 5:00 PM for many guests, including ourselves. Housekeeping could also be improved, as some toiletries such as shampoos and other bathroom amenities were not replenished consistently.

It may not be the best time to visit during government holidays, as the high occupancy seems to put pressure on the available staff and services.

The staff are good but there are too few of them. The hotel needs to create more activities and events and pay more attention to the guest experience.

Cons:

The value for money is poor. The staff is fewer than expected, which affects the quality of service. All-inclusive stays are limited and subject to conditions. All activities close at sunset, meaning they end when the weather improves and becomes pleasant. The pillows have an unpleasant smell. The buffet is mainly Turkish cuisine. I will not stay at this hotel again in the future because it was not a good experience.

تجربة مخيبة للآمال ولا تليق باسم الفندق. تم تأخيرنا في تسجيل الدخول ولم نستلم الغرفة إلا الساعة 4:30 عصراً بعد تعب وطول انتظار، مما أفسد علينا مخطط اليوم الأول والاستمتاع بالألعاب والأنشطة. وفي اليوم التالي أجبرونا على تسجيل الخروج الساعة 1:00 ظهراً! التعويض الذي قدموه (وجبة غداء) كان غير عادل تماماً ولا يعوض وقت الإجازة الثمين الذي ضاع بسبب سوء التنظيم. الإدارة بحاجة لإعادة نظر في احترام وقت النزلاء."

Pros:

The hotel was very beautiful. They gave us check-in at 11:30 instead of 3:00, which we really appreciated.
The room was spacious and the view was also lovely.

The cleanliness was excellent, and the service was fast overall.

The food was good overall, but I personally liked the breakfast the most. There were many varieties to suit all tastes.

One thing is that there’s a bit of distance between the hotel pool and Meryal Waterpark. It would be better if there was always a golf cart available because the walk is long, especially in the hot weather.

Also, it would be nice if the pool bar and food truck had more and better options available.

The kids club was great — the girls enjoyed it a lot

We visited the resort over a busy holiday period and, despite the crowds, had enjoyable stay
Pros:

We arrived around noon for a 3 pm check‑in, and while the process was delayed due to the holiday rush, the staff took our luggage, completed payment formalities, and even offered a complimentary lunch so we could start exploring.

The resort’s pool scene is a standout: three pools thoughtfully suited to different age groups. Our kids practically lived there—swimming before and after check‑in and right up to the 6 pm closing. Lunch and dinner at Turquoise were both tasty with plenty of variety. The restaurant was overwhelmed at peak times and seating felt a bit chaotic—likely because there are multiple entrances—yet the team stayed calm, kind, and proactive in finding us a table and replenishing dishes as quickly as possible.

Day two was dedicated to the water park, which was the highlight. We were there from 11 am to 6 pm and had a blast. A few tips: arrive early to grab a shaded spot or consider booking a cabana, wear Aquafit water shoes because the ground gets hot, and don’t worry about food pricing—the options inside the park were reasonably priced. Checking out before heading to the water park made leaving later much easier.

Overall, even with holiday crowds and a slightly delayed room allocation, the resort delivered a fun, family‑friendly experience thanks to varied pools, a well‑run water park, good food, and especially the consistently courteous staff. We’d return—just aiming for an earlier arrival and shade strategy on busy days.

We booked a seaview room and check in supposed at 3 but room wasn’t ready, the receptionist was helpful and gave us another room but it was not seaview, park instead. Power generators were loud.

Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Rixos Qetaifan Island North and truly felt spoiled from the moment we arrived. We were celebrating a special occasion, and the hotel staff went over and beyond to make it unforgettable. They surprised us with a beautiful fruit platter and a small Happy Birthday cake in the room, which was such a thoughtful and lovely gesture.

The all-inclusive experience was outstanding, with a fantastic brunch that was perfect for enjoying quality time with friends and family. One of the highlights was having 2 days access to the water park, which made the stay even more fun and memorable for everyone.

The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, giving us plenty of space to relax. The service throughout the hotel was exceptional, with warm and attentive staff who made us feel special at every step. Everything was perfectly organized, and the whole experience felt luxurious and stress-free.

We had an amazing time and will definitely return again soon. Highly recommended!
