Great place in the heart of the city, just 2 min from the beach
Pros:

I have stayed at Futurotel Málaga several times and I always come back because it offers excellent value for money. The location is fantastic, literally two minutes from the beach, in a safe area with supermarkets, shops and plenty of restaurants nearby. It is also very well connected to public transport, with the airport bus stop just a five-minute walk away.

Although the bathrooms are shared, they are kept impeccably clean. The staff clean the communal areas and bathrooms constantly, something that does not happen even in many traditional hotels. Everything is modern: from the smart mirrors, toilets and taps to the digital showers and jacuzzi. The capsules themselves are clean, comfortable and equipped with everything you need.

The staff are always friendly and helpful, but I would especially like to mention Antonio, who is always incredibly kind, welcoming and ready to help. His positive attitude makes guests feel at home. Thanks, Antonio!

The only downside is that your experience can sometimes depend on the other guests. Most people respect the capsule concept and keep the noise to a minimum, but occasionally you may encounter inconsiderate guests who disturb others. That said, this has nothing to do with the hostel itself.

If you are travelling solo and using Málaga as a base to explore Andalucía, this is the perfect place to stay. It is affordable, clean and safe and I honestly do not see the point of paying €200 per night for a hotel room just to sleep there if you travel alone. I have never had a bad experience at Futurotel and I would definitely recommend it.
