Pas de petit déjeuner mais boissons chaudes à se faire.
Emplacement. Environ 2km de tout. La rue est chouette mais l'activité est plus loin.
The house is conveniently located very close to the station and to Engaku-ji Temple; there’s also a convenience store nearby. The interiors are brand new, extremely clean and well kept, the common areas on the ground floor are also very comfortable and clean. The owner was nice and allowed us in before check in time to leave the luggage in the common area, despite he was not physically present they immediately responded on WhatsApp. The guy at the reception is exceptional, he has been one of the nicest host in any hotel we’ve ever visited and he has been very helpful during our stay. The room was also very nice and clean, with a lovely tatami and a well equipped bathroom. Overall, it is a great place where to stay in Kamakura, both for the position and for the hospitality.

I was looking for a place to stay in Kamakura area, and this place turned out to be the nice one and not expensive comparing to the other places in Kamakura city!!!
It takes 1 minute to reach the train station, and only 10 minutes to go to Kamakura, 15 minutes to the beach. Very quiet (despite its close location to the train station) and lovely place, super cozy and clean rooms (you can always ask to clean them up), and the place has everything you need nearby.
It was my first time sleeping on tatami mat and futon, I enjoyed that :)) In general, I find it a perfect place for your unique “rural Japan” experience. They have all the necessities like kettle, fridge or microwave on the first floor, which is super helpful !!
You can also easily reach both airports (Haneda / Narita) from Kita-Kamakura station, which was super important to me, as I was carrying luggage! The staff are always there for you and ready to help!! Suuuuper friendly people, speak English and can guide you about all your queries. Genuinely had a great time and highly recommend this place!! :))) 🤍
The only drawback I was able to find is that there’s no elevator and the check-out time (10 am) is a bit early. But it didn’t affect my overall positive experience at all!!! While checking in, staff helped me to carry the luggage upstairs, and after I checked out, staff genially allowed me to leave my bags for couple of hours, so i had more time to explore this area. I really appreciate that.

Letztlich war ich aber gar nicht dort und kann nicht mehr dazu sagen. Wäre aber sehr gespannt auf einen Aufenthalt und hoffe, es klappt einmal in der Zukunft!
