An unforgettable stay with stunning mountain views, home away from home in Clarens.
Pros:

The beautiful property with amazing aesthetics' (quiet and niche), the exceptional service of the staff, the beautiful view of the mountains from all around the property, especially when having breakfast. The food was next level, each morning a different menu and in the evenings and range of cuisine to choose from. Evening fire in the living room with glühwein was a special touch. Will definitely be staying at this property going forward when in Clarens. Thanks Chrisna and staff.

Honestly, nothing i can think off. Enjoyed every moment of our stay at the beautiful property.

Pros:

They were excellent in every aspect. One of our party has Celiac Disease (Gluten Free with no cross contamination) and they dealt with this requirement very well. Staff were very well trained and accommodating. Accommodations were excellent. Would recommend them to anyone.

Loved the aesthetics, the furniture is a mix of Morden and antique, loved it!! The showers are exceptional. We will definitely come back sometime next year, please keep 1 room for us. Friendly host too

A wonderful stay in a unique boutique hotel
Pros:

The staff were welcoming, friendly and incredibly helpful upon arrival. The room was lovely and spacious, the bed incredibly comfortable. The hotel has little unexpected luxuries such as the lounge area where they have fire going from the afternoon late into the evening. They have Old Brown Sherry for you to enjoy in the lounge area. The breakfasts were lovely and indulgent. There are so many little things that made this hotel special and so enjoyable. The manager was accommodating - we were there for a 2-day MTB race and so she ensured the kitchen opened earlier so that we could eat before our race.

Cons:

There is nothing I could suggest to make the hotel stay better. They really have thought of everything.

Absolutely outstanding - a real hidden gem in the heart of Clarens, we will definitely be back!
Pros:

What a find! Everything about this hotel was perfect. The attention to detail is superb - everything from the easy check-in, the porter eagerly awaiting to transport our bags to our room, the help-yourself tea and coffee station and the jar of the most delicious home baked oat cookies to the friendly staff who could not do enough to make us feel at home. The hotel was very quiet when we stayed (mid week in term time) so we literally had the lounge with the beautiful log fire to ourselves in the evenings and basically had a private dining experience. The restaurant is an absolute must-visit even if you're not staying at the hotel - some of the best food I have had since moving to SA. The Asian pork belly with cauliflower puree and vegetable Wellington and the Beef Short Rib with polenta were outstanding. Seasonal vegetables were perfectly cooked and the meat so tender.
The beds are ridiculously comfortable, there are extra blankets, lots of cushions and lovely pillows. The walk-in shower was lovely and the water pressure couldn't be better.
Breakfasts are plentiful, the hot food cooked to your requirements and I am still dreaming about the homemade granola! On the last morning, when we had to leave early, the staff made up wonderful breakfast packs for us to take on the road with us - one last chance to enjoy the granola!

Cons:
