Very concerning experience with this hotel

Very disappointing and unprofessional experience.

We contacted the hotel several times regarding a visa problem affecting one of the guests. The hotel instructed us to submit a free cancellation request through Booking.com and told us that they would approve it. We followed their instructions immediately, but the cancellation request was not processed.

We contacted the hotel again and were then offered a voucher instead. We accepted this solution, but the only written confirmation we received stated: “You have voucher for 1 year, for stay in my hotel,” without specifying a voucher number, value, terms, or any other details.

When we asked for clarification and tried to resolve the matter, the communication became increasingly unpleasant. After we informed the hotel that we intended to share our experience publicly, we received an email from the hotel owner stating that he would “take all necessary legal measures”...

Our experience with the hotel was therefore extremely disappointing, particularly regarding communication, clarity and how our attempts to resolve the issue were handled.

I would strongly recommend being cautious when booking this property and getting any agreement or promise from the hotel clearly confirmed in writing.
