Need to pay 50 Moroccan Dirham extra for tourist tax. Unfortunately, the bathroom was not properly cleaned, which was disappointing. Some of the bathroom tiles were loose. There were no toiletries provided, only a hand wash. There was also no shower curtain, which made it difficult because the drainage was very slow, so we had to wait for the water to drain. Although there was an AC in the bedroom, I couldn’t find the remote to use it. I also did not find any swimming pool nearby as mentioned in the description.

The room wasn't ready for our arrival as promised. The lack of air conditioning in the room made it impossible to relax in the nearly 40-degree heat. The room was dirty, and we had to keep asking for new bedding and towels from the previous occupants. Overall, we wouldn't recommend this riad to anyone looking for a short break from the heat. We even received a warning that we had returned too late, even though it was 1 a.m.

My son and I specifically asked for two separate beds, but instead we were given one double bed with old sheets.
We arrived late on Thursday evening and had chosen this place mainly because of the swimming pool, which honestly was very disappointing and much smaller than expected. We stayed only one night, and what made the experience even worse was that nobody informed us in advance that swimming would not be possible on Friday. When I called beforehand, this could easily have been mentioned instead of simply saying “it’s on the website.”

We were originally planning to spend another night in Marrakech, but definitely not at this place anymore. Unfortunately, the overall experience was very disappointing.

After having difficulty finding the hotel as there are many different hotels in the area and opening the door a kind man had to help as when I contacted the owner she said no one was around. Once entering the property there is water leaking and when I got to my private room which didn’t lock and when I expressed concern to the owner again she denied there was a problem. My room also had a leak coming from the bathroom lightbulb which added to my safety concerns which again was ignored by the owner who said someone would check it tomorrow when I would be leaving in the morning. Miss communication cause they only talk in French and when a French man demanded 150dh from me when I was leaving in the morning and arguing I only stayed for one night tried to give him 50 note and he told me to leave cause he didn’t have change. Another guest arrived at 1:30am when on the website it says last check in is at 11:30 pm so it woke the entire house up due to paper thin walls and poor insulation. Wanted to go and chill by the pool in the evening but it’s locked by 6:30pm and when I went in the morning was greeted by a rude staff member and dirty unwashed beds and a dead kitten. Would never stay here again even for the price which shouldn’t mean a horrible experience for guests.

Placard inutilisable fermé par cadenas, salle de bain moisie, coin repas extérieur minable, télé et climatisation hors d’usage, isolation phonique inexistante.
Petit déjeuner à prendre au restaurant qui n’ouvre qu’à 9h.
Caméra dans la pièce commune qui filme à notre insu.

Le petit déjeuner pris en dehors du riad, l'accueil du restaurant n'est pas à la hauteur de l'accueil de Rachida et Omar, nous n' avons pas pu choisir ce que nous voulions.

De eerste kamer had geen ramen, alleen naar de binnenplaats en het rook er zeer muf, schimmelig. De kamer was zeer klein. De volgende dag kregen we een andere kamer. Deze leek beter, maar het bed was overduidelijk niet verschoond ( er lag nog een kledingstuk in) boven het toilet was een lekkage waardoor er druppels op me vielen terwijl ik op het toilet zat. We moesten midden in de nacht naar het vliegveld, daarom hebben we het maar gelaten, en even boven op de dekens geslapen.

SECOND HAND SMOKE
The smell was everywhere. Everywhere. Including indoors. Immediately ourside the hotel is a table and chairs for all the local smokers. If you open your window to try get fresh air, the smell of smoke gets worse.

IT WAS FREEZING
We were rhere for 3 weeks in April 2026. The room was freezing! To compensate, there are 3 fleeces in the bedroom. It was horribly uncomfortable. I don't know how people stay in winter. I read reviews about people being cold and thought they were being dramatic.

QUALITY OF BREAKFAST
The breakfast is terrible! It is nothing but a yogurt, stale bread, cheap off brand nutella, cheap spreadable cheese, cheap everything. No fruit, no cereals, no eggs.

COFFEE
Asking for a second coffee was a sin. When we asked we were told it wasn't normal and were reluctantly given a second coffee, to share...

TIMING OF BREAKFAST
We were told Breakfast started at 07:30. Not a chance! The staff usuallu showed up about 08:10. We were often without breakfast by 08:30.

CONSISTENCY OF BREAKFAST
50% chance whether all of the cheap breads and spreads were gonna be there. Sometimes we were without a yogurt, without the cheap nutella, etc...

AIR CONDITIONING
As mentioned, it was cold in April. Some fresh air in the room would have been nice. Not an option. The remote control was hidden and there was no power going to the unit

POWER OUTAGES
This happened at least 3 times. On one occasion the staff flipped the breaker for the air conditioning unit in the bedroom and it turned on for a few seconds. So it does work. The owners are just cheap cheap cheap.

SHOWER
The shower has no shower curtian. Any use of the shower resulted in pools of water on the floor.

STORAGE
There is a closet in the bedroom; IT WAS LOCKED. We had nowhere to store our belongings or our bags.

ROOF TOP
Nothing at all like the photos. The rooftop is a mess.

OWNERS
They are clearly very cheap and hostile.

I booked one night at this property with my friend for work purposes.
When we arrived at the property, we were refused entry by security simply because we are Moroccan. The property owner then told us to cancel the reservation and find another place, which was very difficult since it was the weekend.
So, please be aware that you may be refused entry, even with a confirmed booking
