Posizione FANTASTICA! In pieno centro, praticamente davanti all’Arena! Camera molto bella, ci hanno anche fatto l’upgrade gratuito nella superior! Staff gentilissimo e super ospitale! Si occupano loro di parcheggiare la macchina in un parcheggio e anche se sei in zona ztl non la paghi soggiornando da loro. Colazione molto buona! Super consigliato!

Sehr hilfsbereite Mitarbeiterinnen an der Rezeption, die sich bei einem medizinischen Vorfall von mir sofort gekümmert haben und versucht haben alles möglich zu machen. Vielen herzlichen Dank dafür, jederzeit gerne wieder wenn wir in Verona sind. Top Lage, top Mitarbeiter, sehr gute Zimmer und tolle Ausstattung kann ich nur empfehlen.

An fairly good hotel for the price, situated in the heart of Verona.
Pros:

Positives:
- Location - you really can't get any more central to the old city square.
- One of the front desk staff in particular was very helpful when we faced a luggage issue (we think she was English because of her perfect English and English accent, but perhaps we shouldn't assume), the others were cordial and efficient but not super friendly. The staff in the breakfast dining area were very nice and attentive.
- The bathroom was small, but clean and well-decorated with all the amenities we needed.
- On our last day, we needed to leave our suitcases with the hotel after we moved out of our room and that process was smooth and secure. We were also waiting for a lost suitcase to be delivered and when it did, they texted us to let us know it had arrived. They also helped us delay the rental car pick up. We really appreciated their help with all of that.

Cons:

- The breakfast dining room was nothing special and the food offerings were okay but not great. Our coffee the first morning tasted a bit "burned" but it was better on the second day.
- The bedroom was small, though perhaps a reasonable size considering the location and the price, but it was not well-organized for luggage with almost no available floor space and not enough suitcase stands. The pillows were thin and hard - the worst combination because you can't even fold them. The mattress was average.
- Our room was on the corner of the hotel which gave us a view of the square but because of that, we got a lot of street noise until late despite the good quality windows. We were also unlucky in that there was a concert being held in the old arena on our first night and it was really loud. I wonder whether they could have put us in a different room if they knew about the impending concert.

Wunderschönes zentrales Hotel wo man sich als Gast sehr wohl fühlt.
Pros:

Super zentral, gerade mal ein paar Schritte von der Arena. Sehr freundliches Personal und tolles Frühstück. Parking Service klappt einwandfrei.

Cons:

Es gibt nichts was negativ aufgefallen wäre.

Relaxing tranquil break

Well placed to the Arena, central square and many restaurants and cafe’s. The staff were very friendly, spoke excellent English in particular Mary Bell, who was very helpful and provided us with some brilliant restaurant recommendations.

On the first night, it was my friend’s birthday and we ate in the fabulous restaurant attached to the hotel: Ristorante Rubiani Verona. The food was delicious and they had an excellent selection of wines served by the Maitre. When we returned to our room, there was a lovely surprise of a bottle of champagne on ice.

The hotel itself was a good size with an attached tastefully designed bathroom which was very compact. The breakfast buffet was extensive with hot alternatives and an extensive selection of teas/coffees should one desire them.

We attended another restaurant that we wish to recommend Pizzeria Bella Napoli. While it has an extensive Pasta & Piazza menu, it also serves delicious, well priced steaks. We enjoyed a T-bone & a fillet of steak with amarone reduction. Both steaks were lovely. The one with the Amorone reduction sauce was amazing.

This city is well placed for day trips via a very user friendly train station. We went to Venice for a day trip and plan to return for visits to Florence, Pisa and Lake Garda. Venice is best visited Monday to Thursday secondary to the volume of people and the many steps & bridges to be navigated.
