Gorgeous inn with cozy rooms
Pros:

We got moved to the biggest attic room (Faraday) since there was maintenance work in the room we originally booked. The room was really cozy and the whole inn was gorgeous! We ate twice at the pub downstairs and loved everything we had. Service and staff were really friendly and informal, we were greeted almost as friends everytime we came back to the inn.

Cons:

Altough the attic room had a really powerful AC the rooftop windows made the room (and especially the bathroom...) quite hot and the air in the room felt heavy. The smaller Ellis room we had on our last night was much cooler! The check in felt a little chaotic as the "front desk" was a laptop in the corner of the pub. Nothing too inconvenient but a tad confusing.

Beautiful Hampstead lodgings!
Pros:

Staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy! Even worked in a last minute meal for 14 . Many smiles!

Would definitely stay here again.
Pros:

The rooms are beautiful and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Cons:

You need to know the stairs are very steep and carrying heavy luggage could be a problem. The staff was willing to help.

Pros:

Rooms are small but beautifully designed and maintained. Very elegant. This is a boutique Inn, located on the edge of Highgate, and the Heath. If you want to be away from the noise and congestion of central London, enjoy North London, and dont require a full service hotel, it is a very good option. The pub/restaurant is exceptional.

Very charming in A nice location.
Pros:

Very cute English pub boutique lodging. Many special details and simple but charming decor. Great location close to Hampstead Heath for beautiful walks, picnics and views.

Cons:

The only drawback is if you have heavy or excessive luggage the stairs may be difficult. The staff helped with luggage so that was a kind plus.

As the description says, there is no staff on site throughout the night and no breakfast offered, but coffee shops are nearby and that was not a drawback for me at all.
