Location, friendly staff. The rooms are beautifully decorated with a lot of attention to detail. The breakfast is delish and dinner was lovely. Dog friendly to the max. I specifically enjoyed the walk in pantry filled with sweets and snacks.
The hotel is a mixture of modern and retro. When booking a place to say, this hotel had a unique feel where each room was different. The staff were very kind and very eager to help and care for you whilst staying there. We stayed in a small double room and it was the perfect size for staying in after spending the day exploring Brighton. The location is perfect along the seafront with a 10 minute walk to the centre of the city. They even have a pantry full of delicious sweets, homemade cakes, fruit and even dog treats- all complimentary.

Loved the style, the location, it wasn’t ’try hard’ just a nice and relaxed place to stay where you knew nothing would be too much trouble. The pantry and the spa win hands down.
It was on the higher side in terms of costs for the area.

Thought room might be larger - cooked breakfast not that hot
Facilities and design is fantastic, high end taps, lighting, radio and even vinyl player in the room were super nice. Beds are comfortable. Staff at the reception were very polite and helpful. And what about secret pantry!
I would rate a la carte breakfast as 7, slightly tasteless, no selection of vegetables. But coffee was really good.

A bit hit and miss with the quality of the staff.
We had told them it was our anniversary yet we were put in quite a disappointing room, with an ugly view. A a small celebratory gesture would have been thoughtful, given the price of the room, but we received nothing.
Have visited the Bath & Margate hotels quite a few times so I was looking forward to trying Brighton, but this one felt by far quite underwhelming.
Absolutely fabulous
It was so pretty and clean. I loved the sweetie bar and the communal areas were so nice to sit in too. The bed was so comfortable and the room was gorgeous. The food was delicious with tasty breakfasts, snacks and meals. The coffee was good too and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I had a spa treatment when I was there and it was just perfect, so relaxing.
I loved everything. I would advise to book your spa treatments ahead of your stay as it was very booked up so I was very lucky to get a last minute massage.
Beautiful , cosy styling and chic interior . Lovely well thought out rooms . Comfortable beds . Perfect air conditioning. Absolute brilliant staff who went above and beyond for us .

Staff were absolutely delightful. Friendly, warm and accommodating of our requirements. Best of all they loved our little dog and made a fuss of her. Both bedroom and the overall interiors is beautiful and very thoughtful throughout. Little places to sit and relax, a stylish terrace looking out to the sea with comfortable seating and a pantry filled with sweets, crisps, popcorn and fruit was such a nice touch.
I would have liked a small vanity kit in the bathroom to contain a shower cap, that would have been handy and I cannot speak for all of the rooms but we found the bed too small for us. Would upgrade next time to have a Super-king. The food in the restaurant was not at the same level of quality as the rest of the hotel.
