Information for people entering the Yukon
Anyone can travel to the Yukon, but you need to follow public health measures while you're in the territory.

Parking cost ($151 per day), Noise and Location
Great location, walkable to lots of interesting sites, coffee shops, restaurants, and to the river footpath.
Hotel has an elevator. Excellent shower in bathroom.
Restaurant next door had good food.
Parking outside the front of the hotel was 2 hour until 5pm so effectively free from 3pm overnight until 11am the next day
Bathroom sink drain was broken. A/C in room was a stand-alone unit, venting through the windows. This meant it was hard to draw the curtains completely.
Lighting in room was minimal and there were not enough power outlets by the bed.
Great location downtown within easy walking distance of Yukon River. Next to the hotel is a Greek/Italian restaurant with excellent food and great atmosphere. The staff was friendly.
I think the bedding was synthetic materials, which is hotter than natural fiber. Fortunately we were able to cool the room enough to compensate. People don’t sleep as well when they’re too warm.

1. Towels: First stay for 3 nights, the towels were of poor quality, synthetic. However for 2nd stay for 4 nights, the towels were excellent, quality cotton material.
2. WiFi / TV: worried it was not secure. TV and WiFi were difficult to get connected to. On first night there were not working, no electrics. It got sorted by Staff at reception.
2. Window latch was broken and unable to open window at check-in. Staff allocated different room promptly.
Overall I enjoyed my stay at Elite. All staff were friendly and helpful and they resolved small glitches very quickly, which I appreciate. These glitches happen everywhere but don’t always get sorted like they did at Elite. As a woman, I felt safe there too. I am happy to return there again and have already recommended it to others. A huge thank you to everyone. All Staff and Customer Service are awesome.
Location, was great for walking around.
Amenities were sparse and the decor and furnishings were old.
Very comfy beds. Parking and elevator access for heavy luggage was very welcome. Fridge is a decent size. The room is very well proportioned. Generally the room was clean except for points below.
Overall the value this hotel offers is excellent.
Stale smell when entering the room. It cleared after the first night though. Plug hole for bath looks awful - lots of scale buildup.
No carpet underlay.
Room does get hot when sunny in summertime. There is an air conditioner but it’s very noisy when in operation.
Toiletries are very basic and not upto any standard. We had to pick up handwash and shower gel from supermarket to meet our normal standards.
