I don't think I will ever make a booking with bayside lodge
Pros:

The rooms are clean.

Cons:

I booked a room for 2 but when I get there they told us rooms are full they will squeeze us into a sharing room ok we agreed we had no choice the room they gave us didn't even have a key the staff kept lying to us saying they still looking for the key they will bring to us till we slept in a unlocked room, we barely even slept there thinking about our safety it was a mess.

Cleanliness, remove old towels from bathroom please and provide us with two towels as a couple. Also remove the used soap.

They were not accommodating. They didn’t clean the room and change towels.

Cons:

The staff did not give us good reception, we had to ask for toilet papers and soaps. We had to ask for a remote control and air conditioner remote. They want us to leave our Identity card for a remote control. ID card is an important document just to leave it by the reception. At least they should have mentioned on the website that they will need our identification left in the reception. Secondly room service did not clean the room. We used dirty towels for second day.

I had a beautiful stay at the Bay Side Hotel, I will be coming back very soon to enjoy the beautiful

The location of the hotel is good, as a person who didn’t know Durban, it was easily accessible, good stuff at the reception, clean spacious bachelor rooms ❤️🙌🤝

Pros:

Stayed here for just one night and wished we could have stayed much longer! The location is absolutely perfect—not that far to tthe beach , and shops ,The rustic-chic style of the property , and the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming."
