Good location for our activities.

For London it is a good value for money.
Pros:

The location was really good 2-3 min from King's cross train, the staff very friendly. The room was cozy, clean and quiet

Pros:

Very close to St Pancras and Kings Cross station. Easy to check in and locate. Bed was comfortable.

Cons:

Fair warning if you have heavy luggage like I did make sure you request ground floor!! I had to carry my 20kg suitcase up to the third floor which was really rough on skinny steep stairs (there was 8 flights in total like up and then up was one floor). Also the bathroom is sensor light so don’t freak out if it switches off mid shower. The walls are also paper thin so you can hear your neighbours.

Muy bien ubicado.
Puedes ir andando a Camden Town (40 min) o zona del BigBen (45 min).
Buena combinacion de metro, al lado de una estación grande.

Cons:

Las camas de matrimonio son de 120cm.

Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft auf gar keinen Fall !
Pros:

Die Lage zu Underground Pancras und Kings Cross ist mit knapp 5 Minuten super. Handtücher wurden täglich gewechselt.

Cons:

Wir hatten ein "Zimmer" im Keller. Badezimmer ohne Fenster und Lüftung, Schimmel dementsprechend in den Ecken, kein Duschgel. Fenster bzw. Türe zum Innenhof ist durch Tauben und deren Kot bewohnt. Das Doppelbett hatte max.eine Breite von 140 cm und war durchgelegen. Stauraum ist in Form von Schränken und Schubladen ausreichend vorhanden, wir haben sie allerdings nicht genutzt, weil auch da schon der Schimmel "eingezogen" ist. Als größtes Problem haben wir die Sicherheit empfunden. Der Weg nach unten ist erst nur durch ein leicht zu überwindenes Tor "gesichert". Die weiteren Türen sind mit Schlüssel zu öffnen, aber aus Holz und sicherlich leicht zu öffnen. An unserer Türe waren (Nr. 1) deutliche ältere Einbruchsspuren zu erkennen. Die Rezeption im naheliegend Hotel Belgrove ( wo auch der Check-in ist) gab den "freundlichen Hinweis ", don't worry ! Es ist auch kein Safe vorhanden. Somit haben wir tagsüber unsere Wertgegenstände lieber immer mitgenommen. Sicherheitsgefühl geht anders. Wer klaustrophobisch veranlagt ist, der sollte die Räumlichkeiten unbedingt meiden. Wir waren für drei Nächte dort und letztendlich froh das "Loch" verlassen zu können.

Being told I had to collect my keys from Belgrove hotel. Who does that?

I ring at 6am this morning out of courtesy to say Im checking out & to ask where to drop the keys- the fellow(a male) informs me to 'bring the keys to Belgrove hotel'. Like I don't have a train and flight to catch. Even if I didn't, don't I have better use of time?

I inform him it wasn't part of the arrangement, he says 'You're a difficult woman & hangs up shortly after.'

Maggy, the lady who informed me I had to pick up the keys from Belgrove Hotel (when I was to stay at Belgrove annexxe) moaned it was 'just a minutes walk'. Why could she not do the minute walk to drop the keys? It took me getting lost under the sun & a return to Belgrove hotel before another staff took me to the annexxe. Up customer service!

The bedroom switch is by the WINDOW. Room 10 (Belgrove Hotel Annexxe). Had to actively seek it out for ninutes when I returned late last night.

The shower zone is a shoebox.Forgot to take photos of this and the bedroom switch on my way out.

The rude staff! Should be sent for customer service training. Shabby service is appalling- speaking as if they are offering some favour.

You dare not have (a)large suitcase(s) if your bedroom is up the stairs.

In diese Preislage ein ehrliches Hotel, aber sauber.
Pros:

Winzig, hellhörig unmöglich eingerichtet. Genau das, was man von einem Londoner Hotel dieser Preisklasse erwarten kann. Der angrenzende kleine Park war abends Treff viele wohnungsloser Menschen, der Blick in den Hinterhof offenbarte eine Bauruine auf dem Nachbargrundstück. Ich bin sehr glücklich, nach langer Zeit wieder so ein Kleinod, britischer Hotellerie bewohnt haben zu dürfen.

Cons:

Mir haben laute Zimmernachbarn gefehlt.

Emplacement de choix:
Proche de l'eurostar, du métro et des bus qui desservent les points clés de Londres (avis personnel).
Pour une personne seule c'est bien. Pour un couple, c'est limite.

Cons:

Fenêtre donnant sur une cour dont la présence des pigeons en font un désastre visuel et "sonore" au petit matin.
Literie à revoir. Attention en période chaude, pas de mini frigo ne serait ce que pour y mettre de l'eau. Petit bureau avec une chaise. Pdj, compliqué 🤔
